Will Ganss & I Show Some Useful, But Inexpensive Back To School Gadgets!
Once the show airs and moves over to abcnews.com I’ll post a link to our spot here.
Here’s a backpack that can expand by about 20% if you need more room for more stuff!
The Matein Backpack with a lot of features, but not much money. Need more space for stuff? It’s expandable from 29.5L to 36.8L by opening a zipper. There’s a padded compartment for a laptop, Chromebook, MacBook up to 15.6”. 17 difference pockets for everything you need to carry. Even a key fob hook. Two side elastic net pockets for umbrella and water bottle. The luggage strap allows the backpack to be placed on a rolling suitcase handle to free your hands and back. But wait, there’s more! With the built in USB charging cable port you have a more convenient way to charge things. The Anti Theft hidden pocket on the back, can protect your valuable items from being stolen while you’re wearing it. When I bought mine it was $30, but demand seems to be driving the price up a bit. 8/8/22 it was $34.00, which I think is still an amazingly low price considering all the features.

Make More Space Under Your Monitor or Laptop!

I’m a big fan of monitor risers.
I use several of them. One holds my monitor at a much more comfortable eye level for a computer monitor. I have my Chromebook on another one. That also put the Chromebook at a better eye lever, but it gives me room underneath for other things like a wireless keyboard and wireless mouse. The Bugha LED monitor riser not only has color change LED lights, but it adds four USB ports! 2 standard USB ports, plus 2 USB type-c ports. It monitor riser comes with a USB power cable and instruction manual. And amazingly, it’s just $10 from Five Below! — Yes, Five Below has gadgets priced above $5. Those are called Five Beyond. But the prices are still amazingly low compared to similar gadgets!

It should also be available at Five Below stores.

Meet The Pilot Frixion, the erasable ballpoint pen!

I never knew there was an ‘erasable ballpoint pen’! But there were a lot of Pilot Frixion Erasable Pens at the New Products Show. I tried one and was impressed with the way they work. Here’s some more info from the company, including how they work: FriXion is the first erasable fine point marker pen. Its unique thermo-sensitive ink formula lets you erase and rewrite repeatedly with ease without ruining the page. The FriXion gel ink pen writes smooth & erases clean. (I was amazed at how it erases and there are no shavings to dust away.) Frixion is the 1st and only pen authenticated by the nation’s leading STEM accreditation and education organization. Over at Amazon you’ll find a huge assortment of styles in the FriXion line. The 5 pack I showed on the air was $11.99 as of 8/8/22)
