Chad’s Final Cheap Cooking Gadget
And this one isn’t all that cheap, but it’s pretty neat. It’s the East Oak Cordless Electric Lunch Box. It uses battery power for meals on the move. Whether at your desk, in the car, or outdoors, a 10,000 mAh battery offers one-time heating and long-lasting warmth. Set the time and temperature and it warms up your food automatically in advance, so you can have a hot meal when you want. There are several versions selling for up to $100. The one Chad bought includes a very handy carrying case and a metal fork and spoon. There are many other similar heated lunch box devices on Amazon for a bit less.

It’s Time To Reveal Chad’s New “Cheap Gadget” Theme for May!
Yes, it’s May and Chad’s new Cheap Gadget Theme, as voted on by our loyal Patreons is — drum roll —
Home Office Gadgets!
Chad’s first home office gadget is the Bliss Trends Foot Rest for under your desk.
It has a washable cover and 2 adjustable heights. The companys says their foot stool is ergonomically designed with sufficient height and curvature to better relieve the pressure on your limbs and discomfort when sitting for long periods of time. Since the photo on Amazon has those two arrows, Chad, I and others thought the foot resst might have some sort of movement, but it doesn’t. You’ll see Chad’s demo of the foot rest on this week’s show. The good part is, it seems very designed, and it’s only $20!

Dick’s Gadget Warehouse
On this week’s show we go back to a twelve year old episode of The Giz Wiz show on TWiT. On that show I explain to Leo what that the strange “What The Heck Is It?” gadget we just used in our WTHII game, does. It’s called the See Eye 2 Eye and it’s described as an “eye contact device for web cams”. When you place the device over a web cam, a set of mirrors beams the picture of the person you’re talking to onto an optical-grade beam-splitter glass, which sits in front of your web cam lens. You can see the reflected image, but the other party isn’t even aware you’re looking at anything but your web cam. It came out in 2007 and cost about $50. It seemed like a good idea, and it lasted in the marketplace for about six years.
