The company has incorporated AI in their newest SimpliSafe Outdoor Security Camera Series 2. With the optional SimpliSafe Active Guard Outdoor Protection, the new Outdoor Camera uses advanced AI technology to identify potential threats to your home. Then, alerts SimpliSafe’s team of security agents who use the camera to see the intruder, speak to them directly, sound the built-in siren, and even request police dispatch if needed. The outdoor camera’s 2-way audio lets you warn unwanted guests they’re being recorded. And loud 90dB siren should send them running! MSRP: $199.99.  (On the day I checked the price, the camera alone came up as unavailable. That could be because the shipment sold out quickly and is on reorder. However, there were SimpliSafe Security Bundles that include the new outdoor camera and many other accessories.

It’s a way to quickly mount and disconnect tripods, cameras, lights, etc. The quick release set combines a plate and a receiver. The top plate features 1/4 thread for universal camera, and the receiver features of acra swiss dovetail grooves and both 1/4 and 3/8 screw sockets to provide a variety of tripod, bracket, gimbal, camera rig mounting options. Yes, that gadget is the Sea Urn!

What’s for? It’s used “For Committals At Sea”! Dennis & I plan on using this urn when we finally pass on. We want our ashes mixed with the ashes of our past beloved deceased pets, and put into the Sea Urn. Then, after a few words from Captain Ed,  the Urn goes into the Ocean or the Hudson River, where it will desolve into a harmless substance rather quickly. In the past few days I couldn’t find anything about the Sea Urn company online because the Urn dates back 20 years or more. I believe it was $150.00 back then. Turns out Amazon has lots of Biodegradable Eco Burial Urns and Biodegradable Water Urns “For Ocean Scattering.” They range in price from about $16.00 to over $150.00.
