We kicked off the show with another “What The Heck Is It?” gadget.

That weird gadget was the L LOHAS Night Light Jellyfish Projector.

As you’ll see in the video on this week’s show, it’s almost scary to some. It’s said to be able to be used in any socket direction (vertical or horizontal), but I didn’t find it easy to turn, and gave up, thinking I might break it. The RGB lighting modes are effective though. It has three lighting modes: 9-color solid colors, 3000K Soft White, and an RGB gradient cycle. When you unpack it, you have to click in the tentacles at the bottom, so if you find them too scary, you could use the night light without them. I thought it was on the expensive side at $27.99.

This ‘solution’  works, but it may also create a problem that many have mentioned in their reviews.

The Terro Ant Killer Bait Stations are liquid ant bait stations targeting common household ants. The company says: “It contains a borax-based formula that attracts worker ants to consume and carry back to the colony, effectively eliminating both visible ants and hidden nest populations for complete indoor ant killer control. Ready-to-use ant bait stations require no setup and can be placed along baseboards, corners, countertops, and other high-traffic areas where ants commonly travel for optimal ant trap indoor pest control results.” Excellent reviews 4.6 out of 5 stars from 157,350+ reviews! But the problem, lots of people said the liquid leaks out of the bait traps once you cut the cap as directed. It made a sticky mess on my desk. It did get rid of the ants, but clean-up wasn’t easy. I paid $10.96 & it was still that price on 6/18/26

transparent ABS blades.” Er, okay, but it looks sort of like many other combo LED-fan combos I’ve seen. But this fixture does have some features others don’t have. You can vary the color temperature from 2400K to 6000K. And it comes with a decent remote control. It has a 1 hour, 2 hour, 4 hour timer, and some diming abilities. You do have to connect the socket to the base, but it’s fairly simple with a single click of the two seperate AC wires. The base of the LED is the pretty standard E27 lamp. It got decent ratings on Amazon and the price when I bought it was just $21.16. It was still that price on 6/18/26.
