Last week, we built a pet carriage. This week we go outdoors and build a backyard shed!

Our project was the Suncast Outdoor 54 CU. FT. Storage Shed.

As you’ll see in the video, it comes in a monster box that weights 103 pound. Although one video online says you can assemble it yourself, most instructions say that two people really made the job easier. We found the instructions and photos were not very helpful. You’ll see the problem we faced in our video. It got pretty good reviews on Amazon although they are many complaints about ill fitting parts and the wrong hardware supplied. Although it took us several hours to build it, it looks good. The multi-wall resin shed is sasid to resists rain, snow, and sun with no maintenance required. The finished dimensiions are 32.5D X 53W X 71.5H.

Chad’s second cheap kitchen gadget is the MyMini Deep Fryer.

As Chad pointed out, this compact mini-deep fryer has a small 1.5-quart capacity. So this could be perfect for small kitchens, apartments, RVs, even boats. You control the heat oil temps from 120F to 400F with a front dial control. It has a wire basket and closing lid, but Chad warns that the lid area can get hot while in use. You’ll see Chad make fried potatoes for one, but he said they tasted great. Surprising the Mini Deep Fryer was under $14 at Walmart.
