And in all those years, the quality never changed. It never got better! But we do have fun gadgets, a great chatroom, and actually learn stuff, sometimes!

Is This Really ‘World’s Easiest Programmable Universal Remote Control? We find out!

Dennis has an old Toshiba TV with a non-working volume control. He doesn’t want to new TV because he doesn’t like to update things. So when I read this Universal Remote couldn’t be any easier to program, I bought one for him. Never saw a remote like it. All the names of the major and minor TV brands are imprinted, each one on a different key. You turn the TV on, hold the “TV” button down on the remote, and press the corresponding remote key with your TV’s brand name on it. That’s all. And it worked. I pressed TV & the 6 key, which has “Toshiba printed under the six. The volume on the TV can now be used. Watch the video to see other things you can control BUT, there are no buttons to control a cable box! One remote is $7.99, or two for $13.98. I bought the two-pack.

Charlie devours his dry food snacks, usually in under 60 seconds. So I decided to try out the Snuffle Mat by Oliumt.

Turns out it’s a great way to slow down your pet’s eating. Watch this week’s show to see how easy it is to hide small bits of dry food in the slow feeder mat’s many hiding pockets and places. According to the company it does more than slow down the eating process. They say the Sniff Mat provides a powerful outlet for dogs to expend energy, and the scent work reduces stress and anxiety by providing excitement and engagement. It even encourages dogs to use their natural foraging instincts to find the hidden treats inside the mat. Well, as you’ll see in the video, it sure does let Charlie get more ‘bite time’ out of his snacks. I paid $19.99 for mine, and it was still that price on 3/13/26.

Wait until you see how many LED’s there are on the Glopus LED Beanie — and they can be steady, or pulsing lights.

This multi-function Bluetooth beanie has very decent sound for it’s size and low price. The box says “BT 5.0”, but Amazon says it has advanced Bluetooth 5.4.” There are multiple color displays available, and a couple of things wrong with t’he descripton on Amazon. It can more than the description on Amazon, or the mini insturction sheet in the box says. I think it’s a good value for the money too. It was under $13.00 on 2/13/26
