The first gadget I showed was the Multi-functional Dog Water Bottle.

This neat easy-to-carry pet gadget has a place for water storage, a dispenser for poop bags, a detachable cup, and built in drinking cup that fills with the push of a button! If you don’t want the treat cups you leave that out and have a shorter water bottle to carry. The company says their water bottle has a secure, leak-proof lock so water and snacks won’t spill. We had no trouble with either when we were out in the park. The detectable pooper scooper is silly. Who would put it back on the water bottle after the 1^st poop-scoop use? (It seems there’s a way to keep the poop-scoop clean by putting it in the poop bag, scooping the poop and then somehow turning bag with the poop inside out — but lots of luck with that.) And there’s a handy lanyard for carrying. Available in different colors and sizes. It’s also available under many different brand names. Lots of people adopted pets during the Pandemic to have company and to rescue unwanted dogs and cats. During the past year, it seems almost everyone stayed home. But now that people are starting to move about, the question comes up more often: “Do you feed the dog? Cat? On this week’s show I have two different devices simple ways to keep track of when the pet was fed with simple green color coding. No batteries needed. Then meet a gadget called Chom Chom. What is it? According to company it’s the World’s Best Pet Hair Remover. By simply moving the pet hair roller back and forth, you immediately track and pick up cat hairs and dog hairs embedded deeply in sofas, couches, beds, carpets, blankets, comforters and more. You have probably tried all types of pet hair and lint removal products… from sticky roller tapes, to products that cannot be used over and over again. But we have a second opinion. I don’t have cats and my dog Charlie really doesn’t shed, but Chad Johnson the co-host of the Giz Wiz show has two big cats who do shed. And he found this device works amazinly well. That was Chad’s video on World News Now and that was him cleaning up all cat hair in a very short time. Now it‘s plastic, and it’s $24.95, but Chad thinks it’s really worth it.

Yes, it’s the Portable Water Bottle Shower. Great for hot weather, it lets you turn almost any plastic soda bottle into convenient outdoor dog shower. Fill up to a 2 liter soda bottle with water and snap Kurgo’s MUD DOG onto bottle neck. Now when you’re down in the park and it’s hot, just tip or squeeze the bottle to cool off your dog, or even yourself. And when it raining or wet outside, you can use this to rinse off your dog’s muddy paws, your shoes, etc. before you enter the house. This can also be used as a shower when camping or hiking, or even a portable beach shower. Great if you need to rinse off after being in salt water.

There’s also a mini version of the Portable Water Bottle Shower. That one is small enough to clip on a dog leash or key chain using the built-in mini-chain and clasp! It’s said to work on smaller water bottles and it’s great for tiny dogs. Even though it’s very small it does produce a nice spray as you probably saw on my World News Now spot.

My co-host, Chad Johnson, of the Giz Wiz Show found this toy for his cats. Chad said you have to pay attention to the instructions as to have to place it on a door for maximum cat fun. And although Chad’s cat wasn’t too interested at first, but Chad quickly got his cat Waffles interested in playing with it. Be aware that Chad says you should be in the room with the cat as they play. He also says it doesn’t seem to have auto-shutoff, so you have to make sure it’s off when you and your cat are done playing.
