Light, Horn, Speedometer & More, all in one unit.

I love combo gadgets and this one is great for a bike. It’s branded Tesecu and includes a bright headlight, a Speedometer/Odometer, trip recorder and a horn which offers six different sounds. The horn has a remote that mounts on the handlebars at a convenient place you choice and plugs into the back of the main unit. The 120db bike horn is LOUD, which I found out when I first tried it in my studio. It’s possible you might even want to tone it down a bit, perhaps with a piece of tape over the speaker for use in congested areas. The back lit screen records and displays speed, distance and ride time. All this is powered by a rechargeable 2500 mAh battery. The company says the unit is waterproof in the rain, but certainly don’t put it in water. The LED tail light features an one-touch switch with four different lighting modes and it too has its own rechargeablele battery. The kit sells for about $30 on Amazon, although price there can change at any time.

Spending Many More Days & Hours At Home These Days? Here are the gadgets I showed on World News Now that can help you spend that time more productively.

You’re probably spending a lot more time watching TV and reading these days. Me too, and that’s when I remembered prism spectacles, which are sometimes referred to a bed-glasses. I had a pair many years ago, but recently bought new ones branded Evelots. Prism spectacles allow users to read text or watch television from a lying down position. They’re a big help because you don’t have to crane or bend your neck in awkward positions. Lay completely flat in bed with a book propped up in your lap or view a television on a wall or table. These lay flat bed reading glasses are also a big help for limited mobility or bed-ridden patients. Watching television with them I find the TV experience is not as immersible as watching it in a sitting position with the glasses. That might be because when I’m laying almost flat in my recliner chair, I am a big further back from the TV. Prism spectacles accommodate your regular eyeglasses. I wear mine over my usual eyewear which are prescription glasses for reading, an magnifier glasses for distance and TV. These glasses do not magnify or focus images on their own, but simply tilt images at a 90-degree angle in order to view vertical images while in a horizontal position. Made of durable plastic with mirrors. The company adds this note: These glasses are to be used for a short periods only. Please remove the glasses before falling asleep. Do not wear while walking/in motion as they can be disorientating. One pair was about $10.00, but two pair were $15 when I bought them earlier this year.

Long Phone Calls? Long Skype or Facetime Calls? Why Not Wear Your Phone?

The Aduro Phone Neck Holder/Phone Mount lets you wear your smart phone or mini-tablet (up to 7″) Hands Free. About a year ago I did a “prank box” gadget called Tech Neck, a way to wear your phone around your neck. But a Prank Box is an empty box showing a silly gadget that doesn’t exist. But recently I found The Aduro Lazy Phone Holder which pretty much does the same thing, but is for real! It’s compatible with smartphone sizes up to 7″, even with a case on it according to the company. My LG G6 with case fit fine with room to spare. This device holds the phone at an optimal viewing angle you set and it offers 360-degree rotation. I think it looks a bit goofy, but on an airplane or in bed I think it will work fine. You can wear it or even use it as a phone desk stand. Aduro adds: We made the Aduro neck cell phone mount with high-quality alloy, rugged ABS plastic and anti-skid shockproof breathable foam which makes your neck feel comfortable while giving you the best viewing experience. I paid about $11.00 online.
