Taking your beer out on the terrace or into the backyard?

Here’s a way to keep your beer cooler longer. I didn’t know about Chill Sticks till Chad Johnson, the cohost of The Giz Wiz Show told me about them. Here’s how they work. You unscrew the lower part of the Chill Stick and put it in the freezer for 45 minutes or so. Then when you open your beer to drink it, you screw the Chill Stick top onto the bottom and insert it into the beer bottle. This will help keep your beer chilled without watering it down. The top of the Chill Stick locks onto the top of the beer bottle and lets you can drink the beer right through the top section. There are many varities of Chill Sticks on Amazon. The brand I bought was Kuradori and I paid a bit under $10 for a set of 2 Chill Sticks. I wasn’t too impressed with the way they work, but there are lots of choices on Amazon. If you like to try them you might want to look at other brands and check the reviews. A whole assortment of Chill Sticks are here:

Really Helpful Gadgets You Might Now Know About I Showed On World News Now.

The latest LED bulb I’ve ever seen is the Incredi-Bulb! It’s the first bulb you can throw on the floor and watch it bounce! You can even crush the bulb part in your hand and watch it slowly pop back into shape. It feels like it’s rubber but I’m not sure what it’s made of. It will be available in 40 & 60 watt equivalents. And the cost? Somewhere in the $5 to $7 range, due out this Fall. I found this at the 2020 Inspired Home Press Event in NYC. It was the last trade show before Covid-19 ended the rest of them. The packaging in the photo is just a mock-up and may be different when the bulb comes to market in fall. UPDATE:I just received the latest prices from the company. There are four IncrediBulbs available soon: 1. 5W = 40W in Soft White ($5.99/ea) 2. 5W in Daylight ($5.99/ea) 3. 7W = 60W in Soft White ($6.99/ea) 4. 7W in Daylight ($6.99/ea).

I have no financial association with the company but they are offering viewers 10% off with this link: https://www.theincredibulb.com/discount/GizWiz10

An Inexpensive Way To Hold Your Laptop Or Chromebook At A Better Angle For Movies, Courses, Exercise Videos, Etc.

Folded up, you probably wouldn’t guess the gadget unfolds to become the N8 Aluminum Alloy Laptop Stand. At least that’s what’s printed on the box. Staying at home so much I’ve been using my Acer Chromebook along with my two PC’s much more often. I found it’s easier to watch movies, course videos, etc. on the Chromebook if I could place it higher up, at an angle. That’s why I bought this laptop stand/holder. It offers a 7 step height & angle adjustment; from 2.75 inches to 5.5 inches. It’s nicely built, has 4 rubber cushions on top and 2 protective hooks at the bottom to keep your laptop from scratches & sliding. Another 4 silicone pads on the bottom protect this stand from scrapes and helps keep it secure on your desk. It can hold a notebook/laptop us to 15.6”, weighing up to 11 pounds according to the description. It weighs 9.2 oz, folds easily and comes with a carrying pouch. I paid $23.99 on Amazon. If you go to the page be sure to look around as models & prices there change almost daily.

A Neat Gadget To Help Keep The Kitchen Neat.

Browsing through Amazon was the first time I learned about a hanging kitchen trash can. It’s said to save space and help keep the kitchen clean and tidy. It works with reusable grocery bags. It can hang on the edge of a drawer, the top of a cabinet, or even in back seat of car, hanging on the seat pocket. The company says the trash can is made of grade environmental protection material, and I have no idea what that is, except it feels like some sort of plastic. As you’ll see in the video, it can be used half open, or fully open. Fully open it can stand as a small trash bin for bedroom or bedroom. The plastic bag holder slips off and can be used to push small garbage off the counter right into the hanging trash can. The dimensions are on the photo (left) and one reviewer said it works great with 3 gallons trash bags. I paid $20 for the tan version, there’s a grey version too, often with a different price. There are other companies selling what looks like this exact trash can for a buck or two less, so check around if you go to Amazon.

There is a huge selection of them here: https://amzn.to/2zVoo1S

Get Some Cable & Cord Control – Meet Gadget Klips

Do you like plug-in gadgets, but hate the cords that go with them? I seem to take great care wrapping up the cables when I put them away only to find them tangled when I get them out of a drawer or bin. To solve that problem, there’s Gadget Klip. They bill this gadget as a space-saving, chaos corralling marvel, designed to hug, not pinch all those cables, cords, wires, etc. The stainless steel wings and special industrial strength plastic make them perfect for indoor and outdoor uses. I like the inner curve that allows wires to be bundled securely without pinching them. Gadget Klip comes in three sizes: small, medium and large as well as multiple colors; black, white, blue and green. The price depends on how many you buy. I bought the 20 piece, 3 sizes kit which was $29.99. That comes to $1.50 per GadgetKlip. If you buy the 12 pack, it’s $23.99, so they’re more like $2 each. They’re available on Amazon and directly from the company.
