Below are the gadgets we’ve talked about on the show.
SKYTED Mask – A Way To Have Private Conversations When You’re In Crowded Places.
The SKYTED is a new “silent bubble” mask! If you need to keep your conversation private, this allows silent, confidential calls anywhere. This “voice silencer” wearable offers total comfort from background noise and speech privacy in the real world such as transportation and open public spaces. 80% of the voice vibration is absorbed. Skyted says they have embedded small resonators within their masks, deploying technology crafted to silence jet engines. These resonators are 10 times more powerful than existing masks in the market. I think these will be great for airlines like Delta that’s starting free WiFi in airplanes. Imagine how many people may be on the phone during your flight! (Actually I read that Skyted is backed and financed by top players from the aerospace and aviation industries, including Airbus Dev.) This will probably be a big seller to business people, it’s also good for anyone who deals in sensitive information likes doctors, lawyers, accountants, etc. Launching on Kickstarter in March. There is also going to be a version of the SKYTED mask for gamers. From an unofficial source I heard the price might be in the $400 to $500 range.

If You Snore, This Could Be A Solution!
Motion Pillow 2023 from 10minds monitors your snoring sounds and also senses the position of your head on the pillow. When the attached monitoring device (called the Solution Box) hears snoring sounds it uses an air pressure sensor to detect the location of the head on the pillow. Then it can inflate sections built into the pillow to gently move your head to reset your breathing and stop the snoring. (So it’s not like their demo pillow which I guess was designed to get attention at CES as folks walked by.) The spokesman said it’s available in Korea now and is expected to be in US later this year and the price would be $600 to $700. (That price seemed high, but checking on Amazon I found a pillow that also moves the head when it detects snoring and that one was $499.99 to $599.99.

When I heard $600 to $700 dollars for the inflatable pillow I did a web search to see if there anything like this already and what the cost was. I found the Nitetronic Z1 Smart Anti-Snore Pillow. It seems to do something very similar and it was $499.99. Here’s a link to where I found it.

How much is that Dog-E I saw on the TV!
Well, Dog-E is far less expensive than the other CES gadgets we talked about on World News Now. Also this fun canine is probably of interest to a wider range of people. It’s Dog-E from Wowwee! Dog-E is a smart robotic dog with audio & touch sensors and a tail that displays icons and messages to communicate. How can a tail display a message? IWell the tail shakes very quickly and LED’s in the tail can be read as a word, or very short message. What’s also unique is that each member of the family can have a Dog-E profile with its own activity and personality. You can even give it a name you’ve chosen which is different from what someone else in the house calls their Dog-E. Via the Dog-E app it’s easy to switch between each family member. Dog-E will react differently with each person depending on how they ‘trained’ or played with him, or her, over time. Coming Fall 2023 MSRP: $79.99. There’s a preorder link below.

Below are the gadgets I showed on Tech Guy Labs That End It’s Run Of December 18th, 2022.
Square COB LED Flashlight? Yep, I bought 3 of them! Plus a really weird one.
This mini COB pocket Magnetic flashlights offers up to 500 lumens. But it’s more than a flashlight. As the company puts it: It is a keychain flashlight,a work light, a camping lantern…. and it has a strong magnet on the back to hold it in place on metal surfaces. It has 4 Light Modes, high, low and strobe. A long press of the on button bring up the maximum brightness of 500 lumens. It not only can clip onto a keychain, it also has a built-in bottle opener. It charges via USB-C and a charging cable is included. There’s also a stand on the back which can be adjusted to face whatever chore you’re doing in dim light. The built-in 500mAh lithium battery works in max mode for 2 hours, low mode for 6 hours. I bought a twin pack for about $19.00 UPDATE: I just found a pair for about $11.00 as of 4:00PM 12/17/22, but I have not have purchased from this vendor.
The second LED Bright Rechargeable COB Keychain Flashlight I showed has more features. The company says this one has a maximum of 1000 Lumens and 7 Light Modes. It also has four screwdrivers, a wrench and a sharp point to break safety glass. (But I worry you might accidentally hurt yourself with it if you’re not careful. I’d put tape over the point.) There’s also an easy way to hang it on a backpack, use it as a keychain, and it’s also equipped with a bottle opener. COB light source technology can provide bright light from multiple wide angles, and can be used for about 2-8 hours. 7 light modes: White Light Bright, White Light Dim, Warm Light Bright, Warm Light Dim, Red Light Bright, Red Light Strobe, Super Bright Mode(Long Press). Four-blue LED Power Display. I paid $11.99. for one.

Here’s a quick & inexpensive way to decorate the inside or outside of your house!
This LED projector is equipped with 2 heads for 10 RGBW color. There’s a water wave ripple effect and a 14 winter-holiday themed slide patterns image projection. You can use the ocean wave mode or slide patterns mode individually or together. According to the company, with the waterproof power cable and IP44 lamp body, the LED projector light is weather-resistant for outdoor use. It ships with two ways to install it – a long stake to stick in the ground or place it on a table or mount it on the wall with the included screws. The one I’m recommending looks like the one in the video that I bought, but is a similar one that has 14 Interchangeable slides with classic elements for most holidays and occasions: Thanksgiving Day – turkey, Indian; Party – champagne, balloon, slogan; Birthday – cake, gift box, slogan; Christmas – Santa Claus, deer, Christmas tree, snowman, snowflake; Halloween – ghost, skull, pumpkin lamp; New Year – fireworks, slogan; Independent Day – star and stripes elements. It comes with a wireless remote control to adjust lights color, moving speed, flash speed and timer setting (Automatically turn off after 2/4/6 hours). Remote range up to 40 ft. I bought the Holiday Themed one in the video on this week’s sow, but I have not used this one yet. I have it on order from Amazon will do a video once it arrives, hopefully for next week’s show. I paid about $26.00 on 12/8/22
