The 2 in 1 Ocean Wave Projector. A Fast & Inexpensive Way To Decorate Walls For Many Different Holidays!
This LED projector is equipped with 2 heads for 10 RGBW color. There’s a water wave ripple effect and a 14 winter-holiday themed slide patterns image projection. You can use the ocean wave mode or slide patterns mode individually or together. According to the company, with the waterproof power cable and IP44 lamp body, the LED projector light is weather-resistant for outdoor use. It ships with two ways to install it – a long stake to stick in the ground or place it on a table or mount it on the wall with the included screws. This 2-in-1 projector ships with 14 Interchangeable slides with classic elements of most holidays and occasions: Thanksgiving Day – turkey, Indian; Party – champagne, balloon, slogan; Birthday – cake, gift box, slogan; Christmas – Santa Claus, deer, Christmas tree, snowman, snowflake; Halloween – ghost, skull, pumpkin lamp; New Year – fireworks, slogan; Independent Day – star and stripes elements. It comes with a wireless remote control to adjust lights color, moving speed, flash speed and timer setting (Can automatically turn off after 2/4/6 hours). Remote range up to 40 ft. I like this a lot and you’ll see it perform on this week’s show. It’s about $30 on Amazon on 12/16/22

Two Super Bright Keychain Flashlights.
This mini COB pocket Magnetic flashlights offers up to 500 lumens. But it’s more than a flashlight. As the company puts it: It is a keychain flashlight,a work light, a camping lantern…. and it has a strong magnet on the back to hold it in place on metal surfaces. It has 4 Light Modes, high, low and strobe. A long press of the on button bring up the maximum brightness of 500 lumens. It not only can clip onto a keychain, it also has a built-in bottle opener. It charges via USB-C and a charging cable is included. There’s also a stand on the back which can be adjusted to face whatever chore you’re doing in dim light. The built-in 500mAh lithium battery works in max mode for 2 hours, low mode for 6 hours. I bought a twin pack for about $19.00
The second LED Bright Rechargeable COB Keychain Flashlight I showed has more features. The company says this one has a maximum of 1000 Lumens and 7 Light Modes. It also has four screwdrivers, a wrench and a sharp point to break safety glass. (But I worry you might accidentally hurt yourself with it if you’re not careful. I’d put tape over the point.) There’s also an easy way to hang it on a backpack, use it as a keychain, and it’s also equipped with a bottle opener. COB light source technology can provide bright light from multiple wide angles, and can be used for about 2-8 hours. 7 light modes: White Light Bright, White Light Dim, Warm Light Bright, Warm Light Dim, Red Light Bright, Red Light Strobe, Super Bright Mode(Long Press). Four-blue LED Power Display. I paid $11.99. for one.

Bluetooth Earbuds with everything you’d expect + Tile Built-In!
When the folks from JLab called and ask if I wanted to review a pair of their new earbuds, I said ‘earbuds are a very crowded market and most of them have almost all the same features.’ The reply was ‘the model we’re thinking you would like has Tile technology built into each earbud.’ (Tile helps you find a lost device) Why have Tile in each earbud? Well, you might misplace just one of them; which I have done a few times. So here’s info from the company, and you’ll see and hear my review on this week’s show.
JLab EPIC AIR ANC 2nd Gen True Wireless Earbuds w/ Tile.
Info from JLab: Ultimate true wireless with active noise canceling, up to 48+ hours playtime and customizable sound via the JLab Sound app. 12 hours play in the earbuds, plus 3 full recharges from the carrying case. 32+ Hours ANC Bluetooth Playtime. 3 Noise Control Modes. Smart Active Noise Canceling. Low latency Movie Mode. Wireless Charging Case. (They also have a USB A charging cable built into the case if have to recharge from an eternal battery charger or computer. I assume USB-C will come along in a future model.) MSRP $99.99, but I’ve seen it most for about $79.00.

Chad’s Crappy Corner!
Our loyal Patreon members have voted and for Chad’s December ‘Cheap Gadget’ them they picked “Cheap Handyman Gadgets”.
Chad’s 3rd Cheap Handyman Gadget is the Hyper Tough 5-in-1 Hammer. As you’ll see on this week’s show, this (smallish) hammer has four screwdrivers conveniently stored inside the handle. There are two Phillips and two slotted in different sizes to loosen or tighten various screws and fasteners. Each piece in this hammer and screwdriver set is chrome plated for rust resistance and long-lasting reliability. The handles are also knurled to provide a firm grip, and a lightweight design offers ease of use. Chad paid under $7.00 at Walmart.
There’s a similar 1 on Amazon for under $9.00 here: https://amzn.to/3V3snN9

How To Submit Your Video For The Gadget Warehouse & Win An Autographed Copy of MAD Magazine.
We’d love to include your video in an upcoming Giz Wiz Show! Here’s what we’re looking for! Your home shot video – 2 to 3 minutes long, in any of the following categories:
I bought a piece of crap: Did you buy something you ended up hating? We won’t get you a refund, but we might be able to give a platform to vent your disappointment. Remember, “family friendly” language applies.
–
I invented this! Did you invent something? (Or did a friend or relative invent something.) We can’t market it for you, but we can help get the word out. Show us what it is, and how it works. Even if it’s a prototype, you can get our (and the audience) reactions. No professional ads please.
–
My Gadget Warehouse: Okay, so you don’t have a warehouse. It doesn’t matter. Just tell us about your favorite old gadget(s). When and where you bought it, and why you’re still hanging on to it.
–
My Favorite Gadget (favorite old, or favorite new): Show us what it is, tell us what it does and why you love, or loved it! It can be a new gadget you just bought too.
–
Post them on YouTube and send us the link! We’ll do the rest. (Or possibly nothing, but that’s unlikely.) Remember, videos should be just 2 to 3 minutes long! Low production value is fine, but we should be able to hear you and see you! If we select and show your video on The Giz Wiz you’ll earn a tiny amount of fame (hopefully). And if you live in the US, you’ll also get an autographed 38+ year old Alfred E. Neuman picture and a MAD surprise (most likely the current issue of MAD.) But no matter where you live outside of US, I can autograph an Alfred E. Neuman photo to you, scan it & email you a high res copy if we show your video. Just print it out, frame it, or just hang it up and no one will know it’s a copy. We’ve tested it out and fans say they look terrific! If you submitting warehouse videos for a second, third time, etc., you’ll get the current issue of MAD as a thank you.
All show submissions go to mail@gizwiz.tv

Email of the week.
Jason Bockis emails us:
Hi Dick and Chad,
I just watched your episode with the small humidifier that looks like a fire flame.
A few days later I was staying at the new Hilton Hotel in Columbus Ohio for a Comic-Con ( FYI, got to see William Shatner and the former Dr. Who Jodie Whittaker!) when we walked into the lobby and saw this HUGE fake fire display. (See Youtube Link)
I immediately knew it was just like the one you showed off on the show. It was also not radiating any heat. Talk to you soon.
