Actually, it’s a gadget you’ll see and probably say “wow!”, which why it’s called the WOWcube. It has 24 LCD screens and eight mini-modules for a very engaging experience. You play games by flipping & spinning the cubes! You can now play some games you know and love, but in the future the company says you’ll be able design your own game, or build an app for the WOWcube. The reason Chad included it on his ‘worst of’ list is because the sale date keeps getting push back. It’s probably more than a year later than it when it was supposed to ship, and now here in December 2022, it’s still on preorder. The price has increased too. It’s $399.99, with a $50 discount if you sign up for updates and buy a WOWcube. Shipping now is expected in Q1, which means the 1st 3 months of 2023.

The Nowatch!

This is a hard gadget to figure out. It’s a “watch doesn’t tell time, but is said to reveal your body’s hidden signals. I have to admit I don’t really understand exactly what this Nowatch does. The spokesperson said it can be pronounced “No Watch, or Now Watch. Info from the company: The NOWATCH is the first wearable ever to continuously measure skin conductance to interpret stress. Using Electra-Dermal Activity, bio sensing can provide insights into your cognitive zones – overstimulated, balanced, or under stimulated. Skin conductance is a much better predictor of cognitive abilities than heart rate alone, which other wearables use to register over-stimulation. You can read more on the company website. But remember if you wanted this, you still need a way to tell time as this device has no digital face of any kind. MSRP starts at $299.00.
