Buying A New Computer Monitor In An Emergency!
Getting ready to update my website with lots of photos and info on the Giz Wiz show we just
recorded, my HP 22″ computer monitor failed. But it wasn’t unexpected since I used it almost daily for more than 9 years. But I needed a new monitor right away. On this week’s show you hear the story of buying a computer I expected to get delivered in a matter of hours from Amazon. It’s the Sceptre 22-Inch Gaming Monitor, FHD 1920 x 1080p, Up to 144Hz, 2 HDMI Ports, Display Port, Built-in Stereo Speakers. It’s the E225W-FW144 Series, 2026. And to protect your eyes and enhance your comfort Sceptre says it has Blue-Light Shift technology. I have say for the price, it does a very decent job. I will replace it with a 4K monitor at some point, but for now it’s working fine for me. For such a low-priced monitor, it did very well in the ratings, with 4.5 out of 5 stars from over 800 reviews.
