Buy One Mask, Get 70 Choice! Or better yet, create your own!!
This is a lot of fun! It’s the AINSKO LED Programmable Digital Mask. The LED display has 45 dynamic display modes and 70 static display images. But wait, there’s more! You can upload photos taken, or even enter text that will appear on the mask. Think of how useful this can be for cosplay, electronic music festivals, birthday parties, and especially Halloween! There’s a battery version, but I bought the USB-C rechargeable mask. The company says the mask can run for 12-16 hours on a full charge. You can control the mask with the “Shining Mask” app. You can scan the QR code to download and install or go to Google Play/App Store. (Yes, it’s said to work on an iPhone too according to the one reviews.) After the device shows that the connection to your smart device is successful, the SHINING APP can change the animation mode, upload pictures, and set text. I liked this a lot, but check the reviews. Seems most people liked it, some were disappointed. MSRP: $69.99

Quickie What The Heck Was It?
Did you watch this week’s Giz Wiz Show. Did you take a guess when I showed my quickie WTHII gadget? Most people guessed an LED light of some kind. But it is more of a special kind of LED. Ready? It’s Bravkind Headlights for Crocs! Actually, Chad thought this was a great find because he a fan of Crocs and has 3 pair. These accessories designed to fit Crocs are said to glow for up to 72 Hours. And Amazon says they are IPX5 waterproof, for dog walking, night jogging, etc. Since they’ll shine where you walk it make walking anywhere in the dark, easier. 3 Light Modes. Just press on the head of the shoes lights to turn on/off and switch three different modes. Always bright, flashing or flashing slowly. (Don’t forget to unscrew the back when you first get them to take out the paper spacer on top of the batteries. The package includes two headlamps with four CR2032 button batteries and a mini-manual. They’re under $10 a pair. I paid $8.88 when I bought mine.

Inexpensive Computer Speakers, with LED’s!
I needed a pair of inexpensive computer speakers and I saw the Jeecoo M20 Bluetooth Computer Speakers on Amazon. They have some unique features. They can be wired, or used with Bluetooth. They can be placed on either side of a desktop monitor, or connected together to look more like a sound bar. They are USB-Powered and if you’re using them as computer speaker you don’t need an additional wire for sound. That’s built into the USB connection. But my favorite part if the gradient RGB lighting. Pick a color you like and freeze it, or let the speakers slowly fade through all its colors. They have 10W-output drive units (5W*2), which provides very decent sound for it’s size and especially the price. With Bluetooth V5.3 chips, you can easily connect cellphone, tablet and other mobile devices with the Jeecoo M20 speakers. You can turn off the LED lights too if you want. There is one very large multi-control button for on/off and all the features. If you’re using Bluetooth mode the speakers still need to be connected to a power supply via the built in cable. No software needed, just connect the USB plug into the USB side ports on your computers/laptops, go to system settings to make sure Jeecoo speaker is selected and it worked perfectly for my needs. MSRP: $24.99.

Chad’s Crappy Corner
Chad polled our loyal Patreons and they voted on his new theme for April. And that theme is “Cheap Gadgets for the Bathroom”.
Chad’s 1st cheap gadget has a weird name: StopShroom. It’s said to, and I quote Amazon: “Stop the Water Easily StopShroom Ultimate Universal Stopper Plug for Bathtub, Bathroom, and Kitchen Sink Drains” When it’s bath time, or when you simply want to fill the sink, StopShroom works seamlessly to make that happen. Simply place it over the drain hole and press down on the suction cup and you’re done. Large enough to cover drains up to 4 inches wide. The suction cup feature prevents the StopShroom from floating away when you first turn on the water. That fixes a common issue with many drain covers that don’t stay put.. MSRP: $15.99
And Chad’s take? Chad liked this. You’ll hear his strange fear of drains when he was a kid when you watch this week’s show. This not only does he thinks this works well, but it also kind of hides the actual drain. And it’s inexpensive. When Chad bought his on Amazon he paid about $11.00.

Dick’s Gadget Warehouse.
For this week gadget warehouse we go back about 14 years to check in on Digi-Vina a device originally revealed on the Giz Wiz Show of April 1, 2009. This space-age invention lets you make your own vinyl records using any kind of ‘throw-away’ plastic bottles. And Surprise! Digi-Vina is not dead! Actually, I was very surprised to see all the updates on their website! I think you will be too. They’re here:
New 2023 features: http://www.digi-vina.com/digi-vina-2-0/
Other things we found out about Digi-Vina on April 1st……
Reviews on Amazone — Please note: The name looks like a big company that says stuff on line, but Amazone is completely different.
On Amazone, the new Digi-Vina Travel got an amazing 6 stars out of 5 stars!
And that rating was 100% of all the one person who rated it!
And Digi-Vina is accepting bit coins as payment! Well, not all bit coins – just 2 bit coins — which basically means they’ll accept quarters at the rate of 4 to a dollar…

How To Submit Your Video For The Gadget Warehouse & Win An Autographed Copy of MAD Magazine.
We’d love to include your video in an upcoming Giz Wiz Show! Here’s what we’re looking for! Your home shot video – 2 to 3 minutes long, in any of the following categories:
I bought a piece of crap: Did you buy something you ended up hating? We won’t get you a refund, but we might be able to give a platform to vent your disappointment. Remember, “family friendly” language applies.
–
I invented this! Did you invent something? (Or did a friend or relative invent something.) We can’t market it for you, but we can help get the word out. Show us what it is, and how it works. Even if it’s a prototype, you can get our (and the audience) reactions. No professional ads please.
–
My Gadget Warehouse: Okay, so you don’t have a warehouse. It doesn’t matter. Just tell us about your favorite old gadget(s). When and where you bought it, and why you’re still hanging on to it.
–
My Favorite Gadget (favorite old, or favorite new): Show us what it is, tell us what it does and why you love, or loved it! It can be a new gadget you just bought too.
–
Post them on YouTube and send us the link! We’ll do the rest. (Or possibly nothing, but that’s unlikely.) Remember, videos should be just 2 to 3 minutes long! Low production value is fine, but we should be able to hear you and see you! If we select and show your video on The Giz Wiz you’ll earn a tiny amount of fame (hopefully). And if you live in the US, you’ll also get an autographed 38+ year old Alfred E. Neuman picture and a MAD surprise (most likely the current issue of MAD.) But no matter where you live outside of US, I can autograph an Alfred E. Neuman photo to you, scan it & email you a high res copy if we show your video. Just print it out, frame it, or just hang it up and no one will know it’s a copy. We’ve tested it out and fans say they look terrific! If you submitting warehouse videos for a second, third time, etc., you’ll get the current issue of MAD as a thank you.
All show submissions go to mail gizwiz.tv

Email of the week:
As you see on this week’s show, this has got to be a scam. It’s for an old, old Bose product still available on Amazon for more $600. Here’s the current Amazon ad:
https://www.amazon.com/Bose-System-Multi-CD-Changer-Titanium/dp/B004JNZHRK
As an Amazon Associate Giz Wiz Biz earns from qualifying Amazon purchases. You pay no more. Remember, this device tech-wise is very old! It may have come out like in 2011.
But on a what looks like a ‘scam QVC’, it’s on sale (or was on sale) for $39!! with 77% off if you bought a second unit!!! That means two units for under $40.00! We checked their other prices too like $200 luggage for ridiculoulsy low prices. So low we decided, ‘if it sounds too good to be true, it’s probably a scam.’
