New!  Soundcore Releases The Feature Packed Liberty 4 NC Earbuds….

The brand new Soundcore Liberty 4 NC noise canceling earbuds entered the marketplace on June 29^th, 2023. They’re said to reduce noise By Up to 98.5% with Adaptive ANC 2.0 . I don’t have a way to measure it, but they sure do cancel out a lot of noise when I put them on. Anker adds ‘there is 3 times more detail in the sound due to 11mm custom-tuned drivers. Again, I can’t test that, but these are AMAZING sound earbuds, especially for the price! Another listed feature is LDAC technology to transfer 3 times more data than regular Bluetooth. They earbuds use multi-point connection with Bluetooth 5.3. EQ is fully adjustable, or choose from 22 presets to match your audio. Play time? A lot. Up to 10H with the earbuds, and up to 50H with charging case. A single charge is enough to listen to 1,000 tracks or watch 30 movies back-to-back. IPX4 Water-Resistant and the spokesperson said they have 6-Mics plus AI algorithms to amplify your voice while reducing background noise. USB-C charging and you can charge the case wirelessly on a charging pad. The amazing price, under $100, at $99.99, but there’s an intro $20 off on Amazon. I don’t know for how long though! They sound amazing to me! So does the price. (The coupon was still active 7/1/23

The first gadget we saw walking into the exhibit ballroom was an axe! It seemed a strange holiday gift and when I asked about it, I found out something very interesting which you’ll about on this week’s show. “The Perfect Axe” is its name and it’s from Warwood Tool. It should available starting Fall 2023. Here’s bit more info from the company:

In the photo, are the Droyd Blipper and Weeler. The Droyd Blipper is intended for riders 13 and up, MSRP: $479.00. The Weeler is designed for riders 6 to 12 and MSRP: $349.00. Chad polled our loyal Patreons and they voted on his new theme for June. That winning theme is Cheap Hobby & Craft Gadgets.

Chad’s 4^th Cheap Hobby & Craft Gadget is the LED LIGHT UP NEEDLE THREADER.

As you’ll see on this week’s show, the LED light brightens the thread area, making it easier to thread a needle under different lighting conditions. These devices have been around for long time, but this was the first LED version I ever saw. Not only a bright LED, but the one Chad bought came with a mini-charging cable for the built-in battery!

And Chad’s take: Chad liked how bright the light was (50 lumen) and that it was rechargeable. He also liked the price. It was on close out at Bed Bath & Beyond. As you know, they are actually closing all their stores. It was just $7 there, but everything was half price, so just $3.50! Chad did a web search & found it for about $10 on eBay + 5.95 shipping. We’d love to include your video in an upcoming Giz Wiz Show! Here’s what we’re looking for! Your home shot video – 2 to 3 minutes long, in any of the following categories:
I bought a piece of crap: Did you buy something you ended up hating? We won’t get you a refund, but we might be able to give a platform to vent your disappointment. Remember, “family friendly” language applies.

I invented this! Did you invent something? (Or did a friend or relative invent something.) We can’t market it for you, but we can help get the word out. Show us what it is, and how it works. Even if it’s a prototype, you can get our (and the audience) reactions. No professional ads please.

My Gadget Warehouse: Okay, so you don’t have a warehouse. It doesn’t matter. Just tell us about your favorite old gadget(s). When and where you bought it, and why you’re still hanging on to it.

But no matter where you live outside of US, I can autograph an Alfred E. Neuman photo to you, scan it & email you a high res copy if we show your video. Just print it out, frame it, or just hang it up and no one will know it’s a copy. We’ve tested it out and fans say they look terrific!
