We’re now past 2000 episodes! If you’d like to support our independent venture (we have zero ads) just click the Patreon link at the top of our web page. There’s a PayPal link there too. Thank you! www.gizwiz.tv.
I mentioned in host chat that Shaker Alarm Clock with multi-color display & vibration puck we did and loved a few weeks ago was on sale on Amazon for $13.39! That price was still there 2AM 11/23/24, but I don’t know how long it will last. https://amzn.to/3V5EBYv As an Amazon Associate Giz Wiz Biz earns from qualifying Amazon purchases. You pay no more.
Now on to the new gadgets!
The Giz Wiz Finds Yet Another Way To Keep Your Coffee Hot.
It’s the Saker Coffee Mug Warmer with Temperature and Time Off Display. Just put your mug on the warming plate and use the push-button knob to quickly adjust to the desired temperature of your drink, soup, etc. The temperature adjustment range of the cup warmer is divided into 3 grades from 104-176℉. However, the description on Amazon which says “it is adjusted in increments of 1℉” is not correct. There are 9 different temps with LED lights. Low temperature section is blue, the medium temperature section is orange, and the high temperature section is red. There’s an auto shut off with a default time of 4 hours, but you can set it for anywhere between1 to 12 hours. The one drawback, which I find easy to live with, is the device does not remember your favorite setting. Under $25.00.

Fidget Gadgets Seem To Keep On Selling!
I have to admit, I enjoyed trying to put this 27 Piece Interactive Building Block Jig-Saw Sensory Push Pop Toy back in the frame it came in. But you don’t need to do that. You can do a lot with all those colorful durable silicone shapes. You can play it like Tetris, or just fit pieces together for fun. The company says they are non-toxic with great durability and completely safe toys for your children. And they can be washed and reused for a long time. It was under $10.00 on 11/22/24
Magnetic Rings. I don’t think the magnetic rings had as much play value, but they are suggestions of what you can do with them on the Amazon page. And it turns out you can spin them once they are on your fingers. As you’ll see in the video, you can buy 3 magnetic rings for $8.99, but 9 OF THEM for just a dollar more, so that’s the way to go if you’re interested in them.

Meet The 4-in-1 Travel Toothbrush That’s Biodegradable.
I thought this gadget sounded pretty neat, especially for travelers, but I was less impressed once I got them. The travel toothbrush is 4.9inch long, so easily put in pocket, purse, backpack, etc., but not so easy to hold. The handle of the disposable tooth brush is made of wheat straw, which is biodegradable. The soft bristles of this toothbrush are made of high-quality nylon, which I assume is not biodegradable. Each toothbrush package contains a toothbrush, dental floss picks, toothpick and tongue scraper. I was disappointed to see they did go an extra step and have toothpaste already one them. (There are lots of travel toothbrushes with toothpaste on them on Amazon. There’s a link to one of them they has toothpaste and mouth wash and doesn’t need water to use!) Watch this week’s show to see what the 4-in-1 travel toothbrush looks like close-up.

Chad’s Crappy Corner
It’s November and Chad’s Cheap Gadget Theme, as voted on by our loyal Patreons, is Cheap What The Heck Is It? Gadgets.
Like last week, Chad’s 2nd WTHII gadget was very hard to guess. It turned to be a “The Newborn Caulk Buddy, a handheld plastic tool with a rubber tip for smoothing caulk after application. Chad thought it worked pretty well, especially considering the low price. He thought it was great that the device included two extra caps, but he found it really hard to open the compartment that held them. You’ll see his “toothpaste instead of caulk” demo on this week’s show. Chad paid under $7.00.

Email of the week is from Dan:
I enjoyed the show as always. Just wanted to share my experience with candles.
This is the candle warmer that I used to use. It’s a little thicker than a drink coaster. You can use most size candles on it. The trouble with it is that eventually the scent from the candle does wear out but the candle wax doesn’t disintegrate. You just have to decide when to toss the candles. I agree that the candle light seems silly. The reason I don’t light candles is that my father was a FDNY and a lot of fires started from candles, even attended candles. My coworker always used candles and I was envious. Well that is until on day and looked up from her book to see that candle had set her China dish cabinet on fire! My aunt also always used them on her mantel. She left the room a moment and when she came back the painting above the fireplace was on fire. Also I know have a cat and I’d be afraid when I wasn’t looking she may get curious and knock it over. I love the ambiance of candles especially at night but I just don’t think it worth the risk and wanted to share.
Thanks! Dan
