It’s Another Neck Fan, But With Some Nice New Features!

The Caiitfarry Bladeless Neck Fan offers LED Lights & an LCD Display! Now the description says: “It has 3 adjustable wind speeds and can display the current gear and power.” It does show 1, 2 or 3 on the digital display to match the fan speed, but there is not a % readout of the battery power which I thought the description meant. What happens, is when the battery is too low, it just flashes the fan speed digit to remind you to charge the battery. But it does have a total of 7 LED lights and 4 modes. At night, if you wearing this walking or jogging, you will be seen! Also useful is the silicone double hose that fits around your neck. It’s flexible enough to help adjust the airflow direction and give you a more custom fit then the previous hard plastic neckbands. The one I bought has a built-in 4000mAh battery and I think It runs quite a bit quieter than other neck fans I’ve used. I paid almost $30, but it’s been on and off sale all this week. NOTE: It was half price on 812/23 — just $14.99! But it can go back up at any time.

Whoa! We’ve done a lot of bubble machines on the Giz Wiz, but this tops the list! It has 2 Motors, 2 Fans and 18 Spinning Wands. The company says it can generate 10,000+ Bubbles a minute. I don’t know who counted them, but as you’ll see on this week’s show, this machine can pump out the bubbles! What’s really great is that the bubble solution jar connects directly inside the machine, so there’s a constant supply when you pull the trigger. Has a rechargeable battery and cable to recharge it. There’s also four bottles of bubble solution in the package. Kids will love this! Adults too! It’s brightly colored and has flashing LED lights to add even more fun to your bubbles! MSRP: $34.99

I love sleep sound machines and I didn’t need another one. But when I saw more than 51,000 reviews on Amazon with a 4.5 Star rating, I thought I better check it out. Also I read features “Non-Looping Sleep Sounds” which is what you want. Sounds include: White noise ,brown noise, pink noise, blue noise, fan, brook, rain, ocean, birds, bonfire and train. You do have to cycle through them all to find the one you want. But a nice feature of this device is once you find what you want, there’s a sound, volume & timer memory for next time you use it. You can set the off time for 1 hour, 2 hours,3 hours,4 hours, 5 hours or continuous play. The device is powered by AC or USB, there is no internal battery. And the price is decent, although it keeps changing quickly. But it’s usually between $18 & $22. As of 8/11/23 it was $20.99.

Hi Dick and Chad,

Been meaning to make a video for you about this item for a long time. Don’t think I’ve seen it on your show. I’m a little behind on videos though. It’s one of my favorite kitchen gadgets. Forgot to mention the name of the product in my video. It’s called Robo Twist jar opener. There’s a bit of an oops in the video you’ll see however I couldn’t redo it because once the jar was open that’s it and I didn’t have another jar to open. Normally I hover my hand above the gadget. I figured the video was still good enough to send.

Anyway thanks for all these years of a great show. I’ve been watching since Chad took over for Leo. And I’m a long time patreon supporter.

2. Videos should be just 2 to 3 minutes long in Horizontal Format! Low production value is fine, but we need to hear you and see your gadget clearly! You can be in the video if you like.

3. Post your Video on YouTube and click ‘unlisted’ when you upload it if you want, but not “Private” or we won’t be able to see it. Send us the URL link from YouTube.

4. If we show your video (and we show 99% of them) and live in the US or Canada you’ll also get an autographed current issue of MAD.) But no matter where you live outside of the US & Canada, I’ll autograph an Alfred E. Neuman photo to you, scan it & email you a high res image. Just print it out, frame it, or just hang it up and no one will know it’s a copy. We’ve tested it out and fans say they look terrific!
