The Giz Wiz Finds His Own New Cheap Gadget For Halloween.
It’s the Happy Halloween 3’ Sign for Front Door Decor, but, you can use it anywhere. I think this sign is pretty neat, with its 72 orange and purple LED Halloween lights. There are 8 Lighting Modes – a steady-on mode and 7 different kinds of blinking modes. Just press the button on the battery box to find your favorite lighting show. With the “Auto Timer & Memory Function” the timer keeps the display 6 hours “On” and 18 hours “Off”. It auto activates when you turn it on at the hour you want it to start. Built in memory chip saves your last modes setting. The battery compartment is said to be waterproof this works for indoor or outdoor use. It’s powered by 4 AA battery (not included). Under $14

It’s Another “What The Heck Is It?”
Since we let you see what it is on the show, I can tell you it’s the Diotuss Rechargeable Grip Strength Tester. Hold the grip trainer firmly, squeeze hard and the dynamic strength number will be automatically displayed. After you let go, the result number will be displayed for 3 seconds and then the screen will reset and go off. The built-in 500 mAh battery can be recharged via the included USB-C cable. You’ll see how I and my camera person/spouse, Dennis Wunderlin did using this fun gadget. The max grip resistance is 220.4 Lbs(100kg): The company says their gripster is made of comfortable and durable silicone, easy to clean. It was under $20 when I bought mine on Amazon.

I hate the end of daylight savings time, so I thought I would check out—
The Sunset Sconce.
This is a rechargeable battery powered wall sconce with a strange design. It’s magnetic so you can attach it to any metal surface. You can also use the included detachable iron pads with sticky backs. The lights will automatically turn on when it senses human movement within 3M and 120° sensing angle. The white lights automatically turn off after 30 seconds of no movement, the sunset light turns off after three minutes. Why? I have no idea. The LED night light has a 2200mAh charged with the included USB-cable. Kind of unique in a motion light is that you can connect more than two lights with the multi-light linkage function. Chad and I found a lot of downsides to this light, like the giant brand name logo on the front. It was $18.99 with a 20% off coupon on 10/18/24, but prices can change at any time on Amazon.

Chad’s Crappy Corner
It’s October, and we learned the October Chad’s Cheap Gadget Theme, as voted on by our loyal Patreons is Cheap Halloween Gadgets!
Chad’s 3rd Cheap Halloween Gadget is the Floating Candles with Magic Wand.
Chad said the set he bought looks a lot like a Harry Potter product, but it’s not. However, it does off some fun magic of its own. You can play sorcerer with the Wand of Wonder, a14-inch magic wand remote control. This magical wand adds an element of fun and fantasy to your Children’s Day decor. By simply clicking the wand’s switch button, you can effortlessly command the candle to light as you desire. There are also a lot of ways to mount these candles and Chad explains them all. It’s about $43.00 on Amazon, but there was a 30% coupon as of 10/18/24. Also there are a lot of magic candle sets on Amazon. They do less, but they cost less too. The link below shows the set Chad demos this week, but if you keep scrolling down, you see dozens of options.

Dick’s Gadget Warehouse
Our email this week of from Jeff & Adam, loyal fans and frequent contributors to the show. Jeff writes:
Good Evening Gentlemen,
How are you doing, I recently purchased this item to take on a camping vacation. I figured it was a one stop shop type of item. I can charge a multitude of items including a laptop, phones, and my IPad, it has a light, a solar panel and even an orange handle.
It can charge many items at the same time!! Although I would not try it on your Tesla Chad, just kidding, but really don’t do that!
It seems to be a very handy device despite the 2.1 rating it has already received. Enjoy the video and love the show!

Anybody want to buy a used ride!
When I checked out the link Mo sent I found a fascinating website with things for sale you would never need (unless you own an amusement park or huge backyard) but still fascinating.
