Giz Wiz Show #2029, Friday, February 28, 2025.
Congratulations!!! To us!! This is Giz Wiz Show #1 of year 20! —- If you’d like to support our independent venture (we have zero ads) just click the Patreon link at the top of our web page. There’s a PayPal link there too. Thank you! www.gizwiz.tv. Now on to the show—-
The first gadget on this week’s show is a first aid device that would be good to have for any household!
It’s the H.Tavel non-invasive suction rescue device equipped with a one-way valve. The company says it can provide safe and effective airway clearance in the event of an emergency choking situation. The clear portable bag contains 1 suction device and 3 masks, 2 adult masks (1 for practice), 1 child mask, and 1 set of instructions. The two mask sizes helps ensure there’s an appropriate size available to quickly address emergency choking situations. Prices are all over the place. The first one I bought was $59.99, but it made a terrible noise when pumping the handle. I returned it and bought pretty much the exact same kit with a different brand name for $20 less! I think it came from the same factory because it too makes a weird noise when pulling down on the suction pump handle. Even in a few of the demo videos from customers you can hear that weird sound. But, if it works to a save a choking victims life, let it make noise! On the show the Rescue Kit Update show a second kit I bought was $20 cheaper and as you’ll see, it seems to be exactly the same at the $59.99 kit! (I’m returning that one.)

On the show, we did this as a What The Heck Is It?
The brand name almost looks like “Human” missed spelled. It’s HUAMWM, the Space-Saving Sink Storage Solution. Here’s what the company says: Our kitchen faucet shelf features a hanging design that maximizes your kitchen space, providing you with efficient storage for all your kitchen essentials and keeping your counter-tops clutter-free. It has an impressive maximum weight capacity of 6lbs, and is equipped with anti-slip rubber grips that ensure a secure fit.
I was not crazy about the usefulness of this gadget, but some people in the live chatroom thought it could be useful. You can judge for yourself when you watch this week’s show. It was under $10.00 on 2/28/25

Now You Don’t See It, Then You Do!
The ‘mystery’ (for kids, mainly) is done by the SCStyle Invisible Ink Pen.
This magical invisible ink pen allows you to write down your secret information, which no one see, even if they’re watching you write it. Once Write your secret message with this pen’s invisible ink, the words or patterns you write will disappear, But then, press a button on the pen’s cover and the secret message is revealed! It’s a great spy gear for kids.
The company says the UV light is harmless. The colorful inks disappear on t-shirts, paper, etc! Permanent but washable! You can buy various packages, but for parties or a classroom full of kids, the cheapest seemed to be 21 pack for $19.99. Recently, there have been discount coupons to click on right on the Amazon page, but that could change at any time.

Chad’s Crappy Corner
Our Patreons voted on Chad’s February Theme and the winner was —– PRACTICAL, BUT USELESS gadgets! What kind of gadget could that possibly be? Well, for his final gadget Chad bought the Hot Dog Bun Driller.
Here’s some info from Amazon: Prepare leak-proof hot dogs by drilling your bun instead of cutting it. The Hotdogger has cutting edges designed to drill a hole in a bun, rather than cutting it with a knife. No more condiments spilling on your shirt or sausages slipping out of the bun. OPTIMIZED FOR DRILLING NON-SLICED SUB ROLLS AND STANDARD BUNS.
And Chad’s take! He hated it. It makes a mess of the bun and a frankfurter doesn’t fit all the way inside the bun. And there’s no room to cover the frank with mustard, relish, etc. You’ll see his complete demo on this week’s show. Chad paid $9.99 on Amazon.

Email of the week:
Hi Dick & Chad
The CEO of YouTube recently announced that more people watch YouTube on their TVs than any other device and I wanted to know if it was time to update your opening theme song.
I am attaching a photo of how I watch the show (in my recliner) with a suggested change.
Also, it would be fun to find out how others watch the show and ask the chat room.
Cheers, Lawrence
