What a weird gadget to start with, but The Giz Wiz bought 3 of them already!!
Why do I love this gadget? Because it’s designed to hold any of those mega-rolls of toilet paper. PLUS, it has a small, but very convenient shelf on top. It’s on Amazon and is from the Zoyotago store. It’s just called Toilet Paper Holder with Shelf. The shelf on top is a great place to put your phone while you’re doing whatever in the bathroom, or maybe watch & ring while you’re showering. It has raised edges so things won’t slide off. The rod for hanging toilet paper rolls is 5.3 inches long. There’s an inward bend at the end to prevent the roll from slipping off, but if you pull the paper off to the side, I found it can easily slide off. I just put a spring loaded clip on the end and that solved the problem. Chad liked this a lot since you don’t have to deal with those crappy spring loaded rods that seem hard to reseat once a big roll of toilet paper is on it. Actually those mega rolls which are now sold everywhere, are too big to fit the built-in toilet paper holders in my bathroom, so this device is great! It’s inexpensive too. I paid about $12.00. It was only available in gray, but now I see they offer it in black too.

Meet a mini-picnic table that fits in a little travel bag!
It’s hard to believe from it’s small size in the travel bag, that it’s a Jkwokback Mini-Foldable Beach Table. It’s ultralight aluminum, ideal for outdoor picnics on the grass or on the sand at the beach. It has short legs, but they’re high enough to keep the food off the ground, and sturdy enough that drinks won’t fall over. The company says the beach table weighs 1.8 pounds overall and comes with a black drawstring storage bag. It was a couple of ounces less than that on my postage scale. It takes up little space and is easy to carry. The size when opened is roughly: 16.9″ x 11.95″ x 2.95″H. There are no instructions but once you see me unfold it and fold it back up again on this week’s show, you’ll know how to do. No tools are needed. It’s a clever design. The company says it’s waterproof and rust-proof and even with food and grease stains, it can be easily wiped and cleaned. It’s comes in 3 colors and was under $23.00 on 1/12/24

The Double Bubble Machine Gun Blaster with LED Lights!
Whoa! We’ve done a lot of bubble machines on the Giz Wiz, but this tops the list! It has 2 Motors, 2 Fans and 18 Spinning Wands. The company says it can generate 10,000+ Bubbles a minute. I don’t know who counted them, but as you’ll see on this week’s show, this machine can pump out the bubbles! What’s really great is that the bubble solution jar connects directly inside the machine, so there’s a constant supply when you pull the trigger. Has a rechargeable battery and cable to recharge it. There’s also four bottles of bubble solution in the package. Kids will love this! Adults too! It’s brightly colored and has flashing LED lights to add even more fun to your bubbles! MSRP: $34.99.

I Was Attracted To These Magnetic Shelves!
I like these magnetic spice rack organizers a lot. Don’t let the words “Spice Rack” let you think that’s all they’re good for. I bought two sets of them and none of them hold spices! They attach to any magnetic surface with no screws, nails, or tape. Use them for spices or any other smallish items conveniently within reach. I use two for cups and glasses. I use the paper towel holder as a dish towel rack. It’s a 5 piece set: 2 large: 11.2x 4.33 x3.4 Inches, and 2 slightly smaller floating shelves 10.6. 3.93 x 3.34 inch according to Amazon. Super strong magnets are said to support up to 8 pounds, and that seems right to me. I like these a lot. So do others. It got 4.8 stars out of 5 from almost 3800 reviews. About $40.00. UPDATE: They were on sale on 1/12/24.

This Mecha Warrior Knight Space Projector Lights Up Your Night!
When I saw the photo of this fun gadget on Amazon, I had to buy it! It works really well. Here are a few features via Amazon: The Dienmern Star Projector features 33 stunning light effects combined with twinkling green stars. Project it onto the walls or ceiling. It’s equipped with a HD lens for a clear and stunning projection. It comes with a remote control, but you can also control it with buttons on the lighted round base. Buttons on the remote control allows you to turn on/off the galactic lights or starlight, change the light mode, adjust the brightness and speed. You can also set the timer for 45 or 90 minutes. Or the Mecha Knight projector automatically turn off after 6 hours. I keep this running on my office wall and ceiling for quite a few hours a day. I like it lot! It was about $26.00 on 1/12/24

Two ‘Best Of Gadgets’ For The Home.
Here’s one I really like because it’s a big lamp that takes up almost no room to mount on your desk! However since we did that show the lamp more than doubled in price to about $66.00. Now on 1/12/24 it’s no longer available. But there are many like it for a lot less. To me the biggest feature is the space saving clamp mount. It also has touch controls for dimming and control of the LED from 3000K warm to 6000K cool white.

We End With One Of The Strangest Gadgets of 2023!
Meet the DOG NIGHT LIGHT PROJECTOR, a very weird gadget. According to the company it’s a dog light for pets, with multi-angle adjustment, HDR high-transmittance, soft lighting, and a cute photo projection of a dog. It comes with 10 projection slides. With one hour of charging, this personalized dog collars light has a battery life of up to 8 hours. This dog night light is equipped with 500mAh battery. It says: “Type-C cable”, but my unit had a micro-USB port and cable. The dog collar light comes with a detachable clip and a adjustable silicone strip for fitting different pet collars, leashes or harnesses. It wasn’t easy to put on our dog Charlie, but it’s cold out and Charlie had his heavy dog coat on. BUT while Charlie was wearing this light, 3 out of 4 people walking their dogs commented on how cute it was! You’ll see this weird gadget in use in Riverside Park, NYC.
