Giz Wiz Show #1980, Thursday March 21, 2024
This show is show #4 of year 19!! And we celebrate with a brand new set designed by OMGchad himself!
The first Giz Wiz Show – called The Daily Giz Wiz back then – was February 20th 2006! If it wasn’t for our loyal supporters, the Giz Wiz Show would be gone. If you’d like to support OMGchad & DickDe in our independent venture (we have zero ads) just click the Patreon link at the top of our show web page. There’s a PayPal link there too. Thank you! www.gizwiz.tv.
On this week’s show, we learn about some of the new toys the Giz Wiz found at
The Toy Insider Spring Fling ‘24 event.
First up, Fingerlings by Wowwee
This is one cute and intelligent bird! Wowwee says your Fingerling‘s heart beats and greets you as soon as you put them on your finger, because they really know it’s you! (Wow, wee love that!}
They have rainbow feather crests that flip up when you press the wing buttons. Hold down the wing buttons to record secret messages. Your or a friend can play your message only when your bird is on your finger, and you push the wing buttons. Your bird plays back your message in their cute, birdie voice. Off your finger, your bird listens and repeats everything you say for so much talk-back fun. Your Sweet Tweets Bird makes the cutest 40+ birdie sounds It sings, whistles and tweets. Best of all, under $10! I, Chad & the chatroom thought these looked amazing, especially at the under ten dollar price.

Toy Monster Creates “The Fuggler”
Meet the Fugglers. The “Mad inventor” you’ll see in the video, said they’re fun, but they’re ugly – so they’re Fugglers! Well, I would say the folks at Toy Monster are creating cute ‘scary toys’ for kids. Parents may not like them which will make even more adorable for the young ones. You’ll also see that same ‘crazy lab inventor describe all the other new monsters on this week’s show. The one thing that really isn’t scary, are the prices. All of them are priced under $10.00 each!

Chad’s Crappy Corner
It’s March and for Chad’s new March Crappy Corner Theme our Patreons have voted and picked is Cheap Office Gadgets.
Chad’s 3rd Cheap Office Gadget is the Desktop Water Bottle Dispenser
Chad explains that this could be the equivalent of the office water cooler. Even you don’t think of it that way, Chad thought this was pretty neat. I did too, along with many in chat. It’s a battery or USB-C ‘electric’ water dispenser featuring a built-in 2000mAh battery with a Type-C charging. The company says a full charge can provide up to 30 days of usage, making it suitable for various bottle sizes, from 1 to 5 gallons, and other standard bottles and jugs. You set the level water wanted from 100ml up to 999ml or unlimited water output. The LED display indicates the selected water quantity. You’ll see Chad’s complete demo on this week’s show. If I still had a boat, this would be great! Price is $19.99, but if you’re an Amazon Prime member it’s only $9.99!

Dick’s Gadget Warehouse
Since this week’s show is all about toys I thought it would be fun to go back to Toy Fair 2020.
I found a video of a great tech kit from a new company to the marketplace. I thought we’d play that 4 year old video and try to guess “Did the company make it? Is the product still available?” You’ll find all about it on this week’s show.
Here’s the Giz Wiz at Toy Fair 2020 video:
On the show we discovered a few great things. Not only is the company still around. They’ve added many new kits to their line. And something else happened, they slightly changed their name. Four years ago they were Geeek Club — yes, with 3 “e’s”. But now they have the easier-to-remember GeekClub with just 2 e’s. But as you look closely at their available kits you’ll see some labeled GeeekClub and other’s (I guess the newer ones) are labeled GeekClub. No matter the number of “e’s” the chatroom thought these kits were very inventive. I left the same way back in 2020 when I 1st learned about them. Kids should love them!
Strangely, their old Company website: www.geeekclub.com (3 e’s) is still up, and it doesn’t automatically forward you to their newer website: www.geekclub.com

Letter of week:
Steve D writes:
I’m sure you’ve watched the “Amazon Deals” people on IG talking about discounts. I got the label printer from one of them. It arrived 1 hour ago. I haven’t opened it yet, but I’ll try to make a Warehouse Fog Horn video. The woman today mentioned FREE products. Yes, they are free, but look at the shipping costs. Probably more than the product is worth & if I return them, I have no clue if they would return my shipping fees since it’s a free product. I’m not getting them, so I won’t check into that part.
Thanks for everything Dick & Chad. Steve D in chat (picture below)
