We Started With A “What The Heck Is It?”

It took a bit of time for people to guess it was an Electric Nail Clipper/Polisher. I love that the copy says: “For Seniors or Babys.” (Yes, misspelled like that.) Well, I’m pretty other ages can use it, if they wanted to. As you’ll see on this week’s show, the slot for trimming nails is small, so the maker states: Not suitable for use on deformed nails or unusually thick toenails. Personally, I have no idea how you could trim any toenails at all, accept maybe for a baby.

There’s a built-in light and a two speed motor. 1 for a gentle touch when trimming kids’ nails, and speed 2 for a faster trim for the adults. There’s a small compartment to capture the nail filings. I paid $12.99 for the cream colored device, while it’s $11 more, or $23.99 if you want it in purple!

The Fake Fish Aquarium Night Light is billed as an: “Undersea Fantasy Journey: Mini aquarium light creates a realistic deep-sea atmosphere by projecting moving tropical fish scenes with LED light, immersing you in the fascinating undersea world.” I wouldn’t go that far, but I was impressed at how soothing the rotating under water scenes and colorful fish were. The page mentions calming wave sounds”, but there are none. Just a simple on/off switch to start the fish moving and light the LEDs. It’s a great visual effect, without worrying about water filtration, feeding the fish or other maintenance issues. Available with a Silver or Black Frame – $24.99

It was just 99 Cents & I Like It A Lot!

Sometimes when you buy something online, there’s a pop-up that says: “Would you to add such-and-such for just $5 more. Or something like that. On PulseTV.com when I bought my Black+Decker heating /cooling gadget we did on the show, it asked if I wanted to add “The Office Cube for just 99 cents.” The pop-up said: ”There are three different sections to store your office supplies. Everything from pens, pencils, highlighters, whiteout, and scissors, you can store here. To help get you started we included a handful of paper clips!” Wow, all that for 99 cents. Yes!
