In host chat on this show I talked about seeing no boats on the Hudson River on July 4th, but we have two watercraft toys (for tots) right on this show.
The first is the “Electric Jet Boat”, powered by 3 AAA batteries, not included. It’s fully automatic with an integrated water sensor to automatically start the boat’s movement and water spray when it is placed in the water. It immediately stops when picked up again. The 360° rotating water spout provides a fun water spray that should makes bathing time fun for tots. This bathing toy but would also be for swimming pools, but as you’ll see, was not to great for my sink. It’s was $15.00 on Amazon, but it is now coming out as ‘unavailable’. However, with a web search I found it for $15 with free shipping on the Facebook Marketplace. I bought on Amazon.
The other fun bath toy is the Water Spouting LED Whale
It sprays water and lights up with colorful lights and sprays water from the whale’s head when you turn on the switch and put it in the water. It’s a perfect partner to let tots enjoy bathing time. The whale bath toy has a built-in battery which can be recharged. You do have to make the seals are in place after you open the whale to recharge the battery. It also comes with a mini screwdriver. The included charging cable is Micro-USB. It was under $10.00 as of 7/11/25 for the gray or white whale. Other colors cost more.

We Did A “What The Heck Is It?” On The Show
And that neat looking gadget in the photo is?? It’s A Wood Trivet Tree!
The tree is made of wood and consists of 4 trivets + 1 stand to hold them all. Each wooden trivet has six small wooden ‘leaves’. Take one from the bracket and put it directly on the table. There’s no need to flatten it. Because of the weight when you place on it, it will automatically unfold and lay flat to protect the surface it’s on. Those trivets are perfect for hot dishes, soup, coffee, etc. It is interesting to look at, and fun to use! Available in light or dark wood. And a brand name you can almost pronounce: Calmpathz. On 7/11/25 it was selling for under $10 at the link below! But $19.99 on another Amazon page.

Meet The RingSlinger FX
A friend in the biz, Rich Mazel, started a company called All 4 Four Toys and they up with the RingSlingr FX Fidget Spinner Toy. Put it on a finger and spin it and you’ll create a mesmerizing LED light show. The company says ‘it’s s cutting edge fidget spinner for adults and kids’, but I found, and some reviewers found, it is hard for an adult finger to use it. It seems more designed for smaller fingers. A quick work-around fore me was to put a Sharpie Marker in the rubberized opening and spin it that way. Kids shouldn’t have a problem, and as you’ll see on this week’s show, it’s great fun to spin! You can change to other patterns with the push of a button. Runs on one AAA battery, which is included. MSRP: $19.99.

Chad’s Crappy Corner.
It’s July and the winning theme, voted on by our loyal Patreons is Cheap Pet Gadgets!
And Chad’s 2nd Cheap Pet Gadget is the Playology Electronic Ant Cat Toy.
This cheap pet toy turned out to be quite crappy. As you’ll see on the show, it ran for a few minutes and then picked up a bit of cat hair, which brought it to a stop. As Chad pointed out, you would think they would consider something to keep out cat hair when you’re making a cat toy? Also when I checked it out online, reviews were also pretty bad. One person said something like: It’s a ‘get ready to take your cat to the vet’ toy. This was definitely one of Chad’s Crappiest of the Crappy Corner gadgets. It sells for about $15 at lots of Pet Store outlets and online, but watch Chad’s video before you consider buying it.

Email of the week: Hey Dickie De!
A friend sent me a link to this thing for sale on Facebook Marketplace, neither he nor I had any idea what the heck it was. It didn’t have a description, and the photos were no real help. I managed to find out what it was thanks to Google Image Search.
Love the GizWiz! Norris Hall
From The Giz Wiz. You’ll see these two photos on this week’s show. You’ll probably guess it from the second photo. What you probably won’t guess is the price… almost $24,000!!!!!!
