FeatherSnap Scout

We start with the solar-powered FeatherSnap Bird Feeders. There are two models. One for almost most birds and a special brand new version designed for humming birds. The company says their WI-Fi-enabled smart bird feeder lets you experience bird watching on-the-go by receiving photos and videos directly to your smartphone. The resolution of the built-in camera is listed as 4MP, which the web says is 2560 x 1440 pixels.

Newest Addition: The FeatherSnap’s WI-Fi-enabled Smart Hummingbird Feeder. It pairs three hummingbird nectar feeding ports with a high-definition, motion-activated, solar-powered camera. Paired with the company’s app, you’ll get notifications when a hummingbird visits your feeder, with share-worthy images at your fingertips. Both feeders can also run via a USB-C hook-up if you want. Either model is $179.99.

It’s the xTool S1 Enclosed Diode Laser – Cutter.

This feature packed machine offers switchable laser modules said to be able to process almost any material. What I found amazing is that it can switch heads magically while working on a project. It can instantly diagnose issues with your vehicle through an image or sound. The gentleman at the New Products show also said it costs $499.00, but that they were working on getting the price down. Also, I see that their website says: “Sold out”, but you can preorder one. I’m thinking perhaps an older version is sold out, and a newer, probably the AI version is what’s coming next. Chad liked this device a lot. As you’ll see on this week’s show, it was easy to set up and to use. Chad paid $29.99 for his.

On Amazon I found a complete pet wash system from the same company with the same name. But it seems to be a bit different from the one Chad showed. It has a longer hose by about 2’, and what might be a different design of the actual showerhead. Also, it’s a dollar, but it’s possible it’s a later model. Here’s a link to check it out:

About eleven years ago, Wowwee introduced the Groove Cube, the world’s smallest Bluetooth speaker!

But wait, there’s more!! It’s really, really small, and the sound is “BIG” for its tiny size. Not only does it have a built speaker, but there’s also an integrated mic for hands-free phone calls. And yes, more yet. Via Bluetooth is can also be used as a remote shutter button. It shipped with a USB cable, but of course eleven years ago, it was USB-mini. It sold for under $20.

2. Videos should be just 2 to 3 minutes long in Horizontal Format! Low production value is fine, but we need to hear you and see your gadget clearly! You can be in the video if you like.

3. Post your Video on YouTube and click ‘unlisted’ when you upload it if you want, but not “Private” or we won’t be able to see it. Send us the URL link from YouTube.

4. If we show your video (and we show 99% of them) and live in the US or Canada you’ll get an autographed current issue of MAD.) But no matter where you live outside of the US & Canada, I’ll autograph an Alfred E. Neuman photo to you, scan it & email you a high res image. Just print it out, frame it, or just hang it up and no one will know it’s a copy. We’ve tested it out and fans say they look terrific!
