If you’re a fan of the Giz Wiz Show, you know the name 3Doodler. They’ve been making pen that let you create designs almost in the air for about 14 years. But this October they’ll be something totally new! The 3Doodler Candy Pen. You load the pen with bite-sized candies made with isomalt – a food safe sugar substitute. They come in 5 natural colors, are gluten-free, and are suitable for vegetarians. Make what you like, and if you don’t like it, you can just eat it. The Easy-Bake Oven was introduced in 1963. The original toy used a pair of ordinary 100 watts bulbs as a heat source; the current versions use a true wire heating element and it’s from the manufacturer, Just Play. The latest model has two control knobs and new LED lights. It’s designed for kids ages 8+, MSRP $44.99 at Walmart (Coming later this month, August). The model going off sale has only one control knob, so look for the one with two control knobs, which is the newest model, giving kids more control over their baking.

Also new is the Freezy-Bake Ice Cream Maker by Easy-Bake. This lets little bakers experience the fun of creating their own delicious ice cream! It features a workstation where young chefs can mix, freeze, and customize their own super cool treats. Just add milk, non-dairy milk, or water to Freezy-Bake ice cream mixes (sold separately) and follow simple instructions. It usually no electricity, but requires the ice cream mixing pan to be frozen in the freezer before making the ice cream. It’s also arriving this month, first appearing at Walmart.

(The good kind of slimey!) The latest Cra-Z-Slimy slime introductions focused on sensory experiences with scented, textured, and visually appealing slime kits. There were 7 new entries which everyone walking could feel, touch, smell, etc., and pick they’re favorite. All 7 be out in the fall, along with a tiny only $5 slime mixer. And yes, we spotted it in the video we shot, it seems Cra-Z-Art has brought back Spin Pop, a toy they acquired through their purchase of Top Secret Toys. Spin Pop was even recognized as a Kids’ Choice for Best Novelty Item this year, 2025.

Chad’s Final Cheap Pet Gadget is Twist + Lick. And what is that? It’s dental gel for dogs! Said to cleans Teeth and Freshen Breath for 24 Hours. Chad bought Chicken Flavor, but on Amazon I saw it’s also available in Peanut Butter flavor. You get 2 oz, which should last up to 30 days I guess depending on the size of the dog and his teeth. Chad thought this was a good idea because taking care of a dog’s teeth is important. You see how his dog Toast reacted to his first Twist + Lick brushing on this week’s show. Chad paid $25.00 and was depressed when he saw it’s selling for lot less online. It was $16.17 on Amazon on 8/1/25.

2. Videos should be just 2 to 3 minutes long in Horizontal Format! Low production value is fine, but we need to hear you and see your gadget clearly! You can be in the video if you like.

3. Post your Video on YouTube and click ‘unlisted’ when you upload it if you want, but not “Private” or we won’t be able to see it. Send us the URL link from YouTube.

4. If we show your video (and we show 99% of them) and live in the US or Canada you’ll get an autographed current issue of MAD.) But no matter where you live outside of the US & Canada, I’ll autograph an Alfred E. Neuman photo to you, scan it & email you a high res image. The link below will open some photos…… Most of us in Chat thought it was a decent price for all that came with the device. BUT, maybe too many things to carry along on a camping.
