Alright, so Chad’s very techie Tesla has car karaoke built, but for the rest who don’t have it, meet Roxie Karaoke. Roxie is a plug and play car karaoke station for your car. It is literally Car Pool Karaoke in a box. Everyone in your car can sing along hands-free to their favorite tunes with professional sound effects. There is even a built-in KTV DJ that helps select your music and acts as a voice assistant along with Siri and OK Google to help manage your iPhone or Android smartphone. Roxie is a compact size bluetooth and FM pod that plugs into your cigarette lighter socket and pairs with your phone and car stereo. It comes with a proprietary and specially designed extended range microphone that allows you and your front seat & rear seat passengers to sing hands-free to your favorite tunes. The microphone is designed to capture vocals from all passengers in the car and reduce feedback sound from car’s speakers for hands-free singing. It even comes with a pitch shifter that allows you to lower or increase the pitch of the music so that you can sing comfortably within your vocal range. Designed to work out-of-the-box, it plugs into your cigarette lighter socket and pairs with either your iPhone or Android phone and your car stereo. It works with every music player app such as Apple Music, Spotify, Tune in, YouTube, etc. (Assuming have accounts with them.) Mic is bundled with standard kit and also sold separately.) It is currently on Kickstarter at about $100.00 as of 1/21/20

A different kind of robot. This one brings you toilet paper exactly when you need it!
At CES 2020, Charmin via their Charmin GoLab, introduced the first-ever innovation showcase focused on helping people Enjoy the Go – three cheeky, never-before-seen conceptual prototypes made to deliver a better bathroom experience from start to flush. According to Charmin people use the bathroom 6-7 times a day, and spend on average 156 hours a year on the toilet. Yet, in a world that’s ever-evolving with new technology, the bathroom is basically the same as it was 100 years ago. That is, until now. Here’s Charmin’s vision for a better bathroom experience – but expect it soon, or more likely, ever! (Most reporter felt it was a way to get publicity and worked! Here are 2 of the 3 concept devices.
RollBot is a first-of-its-kind robot that, when controlled with a smartphone using Bluetooth, delivers a fresh roll of Charmin to you so you won’t have to be left in a bind ever again. Its futuristic design uses self-balancing technology to give it a more bear-morpheus look.
SmellSense – An electronic sensor monitoring system that lets you plan ahead and check how the bathroom smells without having to experience it yourself. It is calibrated to detect carbon dioxide or hydrogen sulfide found in a *toot* or *two*. SmellSense notifies you via a GO/NO GO display on the status of the stench and when it’s safe to go in.

Chad learns about Kew Labs charging furniture
Wireless charging locations seen in cafes or fast-food chains all require professional installation teams making it impractical for regular consumers. Each charger requires a hole drilled through the table or within 3mm of the surface. How many people at home or the workplace want to try that? The Kew Labs charger is designed with consumer installations in mind and does not require any DIY experience or extensive power tool kit making it as easy as possible for anyone to install with just the tape or screws provided. A discreet sticker can then be applied to mark the charging location on your surface leaving no irreversible damage to your table. An audio signal confirms correct alignment whenever the phone is placed for charging.

World’s first hydrofoil bike hits U.S. shores
Who needs a hydrofoil bike? I’m not sure, but when the guys from Manta5 put a video of their hydrofoil bike online they told me it went virtual very fast with 350 million views on Facebook! Interested too? Here’s the info. The Manta5 Hydrofoiler XE-1, world’s first production hydrofoil bike launched in the U.S. at CES2020. Using the same technology as America’s Cup sailboats it’s the first bike of its kind to replicate the cycling experience on water. The Hydrofoiler redefines cycling and watersports by enabling riders to launch and plane through open bodies of water — from ocean shorelines to lakes and rivers. (I asked about rough water and the spokesperson said you really don’t want to venture out into big waves.) Cyclists can reach speeds of up to 12 mph, comparable to the speed of traditional sailboats. The bikes are made from strong carbon fiber and aircraft-grade aluminum, making them buoyant and light enough to carry. Some Key Specs: Up to 60 minutes of riding time. IP68 waterproof battery. 460 watt-electric motor. Aircraft-grade aluminum frame and carbon fiber hydrofoils. 63 pounds (including foils and battery) 12 mph (11 knots) maximum speed ? U.S. MSRP $7,495 (excluding taxes and shipping). Preorder reservations are currently available for a 50% deposit. (In the video, the spokesperson says 10% deposit, but you can check it out on their website:
