On this week’s show we finish Toy Fair 2020 with three final fun gadgets!
New for 2020: Thames & Kosmos Creatto Kits.
With CREATTO, you can design and construct illuminated, three-dimensional creations that literally light up your life! The kit includes flexible yet durable interlocking plastic tiles and a string of LED lights that you can piece together to make animals, decorations, or your own custom creations. Each set includes an illustrated manual with easy, step-by-step instructions for multiple designs, but the building possibilities are nearly limitless using your imagination. Kits start at about $10 and go up to about $60 for the biggest kit, which is the shark kit. The small kits are battery operated, while the bigger kits use AC power. Suitable for ages 8 to adult.

Another visit to the wonderful Folkmanis Puppets.
No Toy Fair coverage is complete without a stop at Folkmanis Puppets. Their puppets bring smiles to everybody and fires the imagination of kids and older folks too. I love seeing and interacting with their clever and elegantly made puppets. We show a few of the new puppets released for 2020 and then Chad explores their website when you can find a whole world of puppets from finger puppets from under $10 to recreations of the first Walt Disney released Mickey & Minnie mouse puppets.

Remember, videos should be just 2 to 3 minutes long! Low production value is fine, but we should be able to hear you and see you! If we select and show your video on The Giz Wiz you’ll earn a tiny amount of fame (hopefully). And if you live in the US, you’ll also get an autographed 38+ year old Alfred E. Neuman picture and a MAD surprise (most likely the current issue of MAD.) But no matter where you live outside of US, I can autograph an Alfred E. Neuman photo to you, scan it & email you a high res copy if we show your video. Just print it out, frame it, or just hang it up and no one will know it’s a copy. We’ve tested it out and fans say they look terrific!
