Check out the Gana HDMI Monitor Switch. It’s a HDMI 4k@60hz Bidirectional HDMI Switcher 2 in 1 Out. An LED light indicators which cable is on use as toggle between two displays. The company says: “NOTE: ONLY one of the display would work at a time! But with 2 LED indicators, you can easily know which port is active. Also Note: please use standard HDMI 2.0 Cable, the total length of HDMI cable is no more than 3M if you need to get vivid 4K video.” Mine works great, and was under $8.00. As you’ll see in the video, prices vary depending on the color you want. If you need more in/out HDMI connectors Gana makes a lot of time, some with remote control.

This Rantec Bathroom Sink Drain with a Universal Push Down, Pop Up Drain Button is said to be a perfect replacement for about 90% of current bathroom sink drains. What’s nice about it is that has a filter basket that should be able to catch hair, or each something valuable you accidentally drop down the drain. I love the look of it, and it fit my apartment and my office bathrrom sink perfectly. But I find it does let water drain more slowly than my original drain. The company says it’s for drains 1.1 to 1.45 Inch. I paid $8 for mine.

Every hear of a gadget that has been around for almost 20 years?

The Davis 530 Self-Inflating Key Buoy has been. I first saw it a marine show back in 2006! This clever gadget is ideal for boaters, or anyone who goes near the water. If your keys fall in the water, Key Buoy opens up, releasing an air tube which inflates automatically. You’ll see a demo on this week’s show. It could take a minute or more to float your keys, but it’s pretty amazing low-tech technology.
More details in the video. Strangely, 19 years later, it’s still on Amazon, but at a much high price, but if it could save your keys from the water, it would be worth it to me!

1. Video can be ANYTHING about a gadget: I bought a piece of crap. I bought a gadget I love. I have an old gadget I can’t part with because it was ‘high tech’ years ago! Even a ‘What The Heck Is It? Gadget.

2. Videos should be just 2 to 3 minutes long in Horizontal Format! Low production value is fine, but we need to hear you and see your gadget clearly! You can be in the video if you like.

3. Post your Video on YouTube and click ‘unlisted’ when you upload it if you want, but not “Private” or we won’t be able to see it. Send us the URL link from YouTube.

4. If we show your video (and we show 99% of them) and live in the US or Canada you’ll get an autographed current issue of MAD.) But no matter where you live outside of the US & Canada, I’ll autograph an Alfred E. Neuman photo to you, scan it & email you a high res image. Just print it out, frame it, or just hang it up and no one will know it’s a copy. We’ve tested it out and fans say they look terrific!
