Meet A Really Versatile Three Way LED Clip Lamp.
This compact goose-neck clip lamp offers 3 Color Modes (3000K, 4500K & 6500K) plus 10 levels of brightness, so you can create 30 illumination modes. The company says the box contains a UL Certified Adapter, which is much safer than the other adapters. Besides the AC adapter, this clip light feature with a 4.8 feet USB cord which you can easy to plug into any available USB port to light the clip lamp. (You can use a external battery pack too. I tried it for a just about ten minutes and it worked fine.) The 360° flexible gooseneck allows you to adjust your clip light to direct the light wherever you want. And it stays in place, unlike many lamps I’ve used where the head keeps creeping downward. The Clamp-on Lamp provides high CRI (90+) LED beads, brings you a clear and bright lighting effect while also restoring the color of an object. (Chad’s explains a bit of this on the week’s episode.) MSRP $16.99. It was a bit cheaper than that on Amazon. I already bought two of them.

You just may be a fan of this new Worx 2-way-power fan.
The folks at Worx send us a product sample of their new Worx 20V Power share 9.5″ fan. It has a very heavy duty industrial look and offers 2 speeds (low 0-1500, high 2500 rpm) and 310/450 CFM airflow. What’s different about this fan is the way to power it. It ships with a 2.0Ah battery, a stand alone battery charger, and an AC power adapter. You run the fan from a charged battery alone getting about 2 hours on high and 6 hours on low speed. You can also run it from the AC adapter, or a really nice feature is run it on AC with the battery attached. That way the fan runs while battery charges. Then when you need to move the fan to a place without power, the battery will be fully charger. The fan can tilt 0-360°, is wall-mountable, features a hanging hook and easy carrying handle. MSRP $89.99 for the fan, battery and accessories. Fan alone w/o battery or charger but with AC power plug: MSRP $59.99

Meet The Cob Jumbo Light Bar.
This is a different kind of COB Jumbo Timer Bar. It puts out 220-Lumens, but it also features something I don’t think I’ve seen before on a light bar. It’s a one-minute timer switch. If you’re the kind of person (like me) who sometimes forgets to turn a light off inside a closet or cabinet, just simply press the timer button and it will light for you and then automatically shut off after a minute. It has three mounting options. Adhesive pads – which are included, by using the built-in magnets on the back, or via the hanging holes, also on the back. I don’t think screws were included. (I used the magnets.) Using the on/off switch or the 1 minute timer feature, I think you’ll find light is great for closets, cabinets and other small places. It runs on 4 AAA batteries which are included. 4/$19.99 which is just about $5 each. I only found them on Home Depot. Price was as of 7/2/20.

Chad Crappy Corner & His New July Theme as voted on by our loyal Patreons.
A perfect choice for Chad’s July Cheap Gadget Theme as picked by our loyal Patreons it “Cheap Summer Gadgets”. Chad starts out with the Mademax Solar Bird Bath Fountain Pump. Here’s a bit from the seller: The solar birdbath fountain only needs 3 seconds to operate automatically in direct sun, with a spray height of 50-70cm. No electricity or battery needed. A new feature “water-shortage protection function” detects a shortage of water and will automatically switch to protection function. Comes with 4 nozzles, which allows you to choose different water fountain patterns easily. Just put in the water, the pump will start to work in 3 seconds once exposed to sufficient sunlight. About $20.00
And Chad’s take? At first Chad wasn’t sure about this, but the Chatroom, and I too, thought it was pretty neat after seeing his video of the pump working. It does need direct sunlight to work, and without enough, it will stop. Chad pointed out that you have to judge the size of the bowl or birdbath you place it in because it can shoot the water of the vessel rather quickly. Chad also shows the various attachments that ship with the pump. Considering it was just about $20, it seemed to be a fun summer gadget.

Dick Gadget Warehouse & How To Submit Your Video & Win An Autographed MAD Magazine.
Our email this week with a viewer video is from Rick Ankrum who emails us:
Hi Dick & Chad:
This is my video for your consideration to use in the podcast.
I have two bicycles (Canyon Endurace and Lynskey R300) that I ride on the road. While I am not a racer I find it interesting to know how much effort I put into the bikes and how I provide the power. This allows me to compare rides on the same routes and see where I can improve. The
video description has more information about the item.

We’d love to include your video in an upcoming Giz Wiz Show! Here’s what we’re looking for! Your home shot video – 2 to 3 minutes long, in any of the following categories:
I bought a piece of crap: Did you buy something you ended up hating? We won’t get you a refund, but we might be able to give a platform to vent your disappointment. Remember, “family friendly” language applies.
–
I invented this! Did you invent something? (Or did a friend or relative invent something.) We can’t market it for you, but we can help get the word out. Show us what it is, and how it works. Even if it’s a prototype, you can get our (and the audience) reactions. No professional ads please.
–
My Gadget Warehouse: Okay, so you don’t have a warehouse. It doesn’t matter. Just tell us about your favorite old gadget(s). When and where you bought it, and why you’re still hanging on to it.
–
My Favorite Gadget (favorite old, or favorite new): Show us what it is, tell us what it does and why you love, or loved it! It can be a new gadget you just bought too.
–
Post them on YouTube and send us the link! We’ll do the rest. (Or possibly nothing, but that’s unlikely.) Remember, videos should be just 2 to 3 minutes long! Low production value is fine, but we should be able to hear you and see you! If we select and show your video on The Giz Wiz you’ll earn a tiny amount of fame (hopefully). And if you live in the US, you’ll also get an autographed 38+ year old Alfred E. Neuman picture and a MAD surprise (most likely the current issue of MAD.) But no matter where you live outside of US, I can autograph an Alfred E. Neuman photo to you, scan it & email you a high res copy if we show your video. Just print it out, frame it, or just hang it up and no one will know it’s a copy. We’ve tested it out and fans say they look terrific! If you submitting warehouse videos for a second, third time, etc., you’ll get the current issue of MAD as a thank you.
All show submissions go to mail@gizwiz.tv
