I love my little 3-5 cup Capresso coffee maker. It doesn’t take up a lot of space and it brews enough coffee for the day quickly. It’s been for sale for a while now, and because it’s still so popular, they introduced the same machine in white. The black model is also still available. Now onto two totally new machines, available July 2024. Both these machines feature Capresso’s bright touch-screens. There’s a 12 Cup version with a glass carafe. This new model features an iced coffee mode to brew coffee into the carafe you fill with ice. This model also features an auto-stop function, it can be set to brew 2-12 cups, and it has a generous 60 oz water tank. There’s cord storage in the case and an auto-clean function too. MSRP: $99.99. The second new model does not have the ‘iced coffee’ feature, but comes with a thermal carafe. The MSRP for that is $119.99. .

At a Lenovo event I went to this past week I got to see, but not actually use these two brand new Yoga Slim 7x (14″ Snapdragon) notebook computers. Here are some details from Lenovo: There’s the Snapdragon® X Elite inside for next-gen AI experiences. 3K PureSight OLED display with 1000 nits peak brightness. (The screen color and resolution was amazing.) Complimentary 2-month membership for Adobe Creative Cloud. (Details on their website.) They feature two very important things I look for in a laptop, a backlit keyboard and a touch screen. I was also amazed at the starting price: $1199.00. Chad polled our loyal Patreons to have them pick his new June theme. Their choice was ‘train gadgets’, or more broadly, gadgets you can use for trains, cars, buses, or any form of transportation.

For his 2^nd Train Gadget segment Chad was actually aboard a train again with his new Portable Laptop Stand. Chad said out of the box he thought he’s hate this device, but now likes it a lot! It goes together quickly and disassembles for packing and travel. The brand of the device is strange, SOARCHICK. This is a multi-function device that can hold laptops, books, and tablets. You can probably even use it for eating. Chad does a great of the device on this week’s show. And the price was amazing, $23.99. The amazing part is when Chad bought it, there was a $10 off coupon on Amazon. And on 6/20/24 it was still there. But remember, prices on Amazon can change at anytime. So for gadget Chad originally thought was not so good, he ended up loving it!

But no matter where you live outside of the US & Canada, I’ll autograph an Alfred E. Neuman photo to you, scan it & email you a high res image.
