Lionel’s New Holiday Train combines both big-time!

Yes, Lionel is big on producing trains for under the holiday tree, but there’s a new place to put them coming later this year! You’ll have a first look at it on this week’s show. They were also showing their new Lionel Holiday Express. Not only do the freight cars have built-in LEDs, the track itself lights up as the train travels over it. One of the lighted boxcars has a sound system and you can Christmas carols through it via the remote control, or the Lionel app on your smartphone. And also coming in the fall is their new Battery Operated O-Gauge Train Set.

Meet The Fantasia Miracle Deck Card Deck.

I was really surprised how well this trick worked! But, on the show, Chad, who worked with the famous magician Brian Brushwood for years, let us in the secret of how this card trick works! Even knowing, I think it takes a bit of practice to make it look as flawless as the young man doing the trick at Toy Fair. The company is Fantasma Magic, and the deck is branded Disney. At the show, the price was given as $10.00, but I only see it as a two card deck for $20.00 on the company website. Perhaps selling the deck separately will start soon.

It’s February and Chad’s new Cheap Gadget Theme for the month, voted on by our loyal Patreaon members is: Fun Holiday Gifts Chad received from family and friends.

The third gift was two different wallets, but both have ways to use Apple Find My Way.

Chad said the Fallinep Air Wallet Pro holds fewer credit cards than the Kikves Airtag Wallet, but it does have the Find My feature built in. However, it doesn’t pinpoint the location of what you’re looking for as well as the Kikves wallet. But for that wallet to use the Find My feature, you have to buy an Apple Air Tag. The tag which will fit into custom pocket on the wallet. As far as holding money, Chad didn’t like the fact that both wallets just use a money clip. However both wallets offer RFID blocking. The Kikves Airtag wallet was $31.99 on Amazon and you have provide your own Airtag. The Fallinep wallet was $26.99 and it has a version of Find My built in. Chad explains the difference on this week’s show. Both prices were as of 2/20/26 and can change at any time.

During the CES shows we looked at gadgets that were a ‘big deal’ at CES, and then tracked them down to see if they were still around.

On this show we did the same thing with a toy that had lots of press about 5 years ago. It was Flybar Bumper Car XL!

The kid version was huge, so the company came up with an ‘adult version’. The bumper car seats two kids or one adult and reaches a maximum speed of 3 mph. It is made with a soft rubber bumper that protects walls and furniture. It’s joy-stick driven with a joystick for the right and the left hand. I drove one at a toy event and they are great fun! It even has flashing LED lights that reflect down on the floor. With a capacity of 200 pounds, it can hold one adult or two kids. Of course for max fun, you’ll need to have at least two of these Flybar Bumper Car XL.
