This week it’s three new gadgets from Pepcom’s Holiday Spectacular that you probably never saw before! One of the most offbeat gadgets at the event was — Fight Camp!
When I saw the size of the Fight Camp punching bag, I had to stop. It’s a huge free-standing boxing bag, augmented by a connected console. The boxing person puts the included boxing gloves and Bluetooth smart trackers. The technology tracks the speed, quantity, and intensity of punches in real-time; and you can add kick tracking for another level of feedback. I thought this was designed for a gym, but it’s made for the person who loves boxing, has a lot of room to store and use it, and about $800. MSRP: $799 for a one person set-up, $999.00 for a 2 person set-up, plus $39.99 a month for updated boxing programs, which the spokesperson said could be “daily or weekly”.

Chad’s Crappy Corner
It’s November and Chad’s Cheap Gadget Theme, as voted on by our loyal Patreons, is Cheap ‘What The Heck Is It?’ Gadgets.
Chad’s 1st WTHII gadget was hard to guess. It’s the Fiskars Gift Wrap Cutter with Built In Ribbon Curler.
As Chad demo’s this device on this week’s show, you’ll see it cuts through paper really fast and easily. There seems to be no way to be able to accidentally cut yourself while cutting wrapping paper, for example. There’s also a built-in ribbon curler. You’ll see how that works when Chad’s uses it, and then compares it to a ribbon curl he makes using a scissors. This device could make it easy for the elderly or someone with arthritis to cut wrapping paper because it doesn’t require the squeeze motion needed to cut with a scissors. Chad bought his on sale at Hobby Lobby for only $3! That was a bargain price! It was $16.99 at Amazon!!!
On 11/8/24 it was just $2.69 on the Hobby Lobby website: https://www.hobbylobby.com/search?query=fiskars%20paper%20cutter&pageType=products

Dick’s Gadget Warehouse
Our warehouse video this week is from long time fans and frequent contributors, Jeff Slomovitz and his son Adam. Here’s Jeff’s email:
Good Evening Gentlemen,
Here is a video of a product that kind of defeats the original purpose. I’m not sure there was a need to combine electricity with an old fashioned lighting source, but someone decided it was a good idea. The only good thing was the price. (But spoiler alert- it is still going back to Amazon). Enjoy the video and my only regret was that I didn’t get to try it as a French Fry warmer similar to those used at McDonald’s.
Keep up the great work – Jeff and Adam
From the Giz Wiz: The Candle Warmer Jeff showed in his video came up “currently unavailable” on Amazon, but there are many similar devices there.

The gadget Mo found, the Lego Brick Vacuum brought up a lot of talk from Chad, me and the chatroom.
