Up first is my final gadget from the LIVE Pepcom Holiday Spectacular.

Normally I shy away from doing baby monitors because they all basically seem to do the same thing. The one I saw at Pepcom has more features, including the first baby monitor I’ve seen with dual cameras. Here’s some info from the company condensed by the Giz Wiz. The Nursery Pal Dual Vision is a smart, high-definition baby monitor that features dual cameras, allowing for normal and wide-angle views from the same device. From the included handheld parents unit you can adjust either camera. The close-up camera offers remote pan, tilt, and zoom, making it easier than ever to keep an eye on your baby. As your baby sleeps the device analyzes sleep patterns and creates reports for you to view. Also available are preloaded nature sounds, lullabies, and audiobooks. There’s also two-way talk. You can even track the nursery room temperature with the touch of a button. MSRP $229.00. It ships with a free app, but an app with even more features is available for $49.99 a year. The Dual Vision system should be available by the end of this, November 2021.

Meet the AIEVE Brick Wall Clips – for Hanging Outdoor Decorations. If your home has a brick wall, or even a brick fireplace you can use these clips for hanging decorations like wreaths, lights, stockings, picture frames, craft items and more. They’re made from tempered spring steel, durable these ‘no damage’ wall hangers can hold up to 25 pounds. You’ll see in the video that you do a bit of the brick exposed with no concrete or coating. They install easily and are easy to remove. You don’t use nails or need to drill holes in the brick wall. Just place the spring edge of picture hangers at the base of the brick, and then push the clip upward until the upper teeth of the clip grip the top of the brick. (It would be nice it these instructions were in or on the box the clips come in.) The hooks fit most standard bricks that measure 2-1/8 inch to 2-1/3 inch height. I paid $13.99 for a box of 10, so they’re about $1.40 each.

And Chad’s take: Chad took them on an airplane trip he made but found with people crowding the aisles and putting luggage in overhead compartments, it could be a task to place one on your seat. Also he was lucky enough to be upgraded to first class on several of his flights and these covers are more designed for coach seats. Also, there is the ‘how much attention will these attract’ problem. I would be too shy to use them. But that’s me, you’ll have to decide that for yourself. Since Chad didn’t get to use them on a actual plane seat he makes do with a living room chair. So on this week’s show you’ll learn a lot more about them. Basically, Chad liked these and they are inexpensive, with the kit of two priced under $10.00. (Good for a round trip plane ride.)
