Make Your Office Chair A Magic Carpet With The Titan Chair Green Screen.
From Amazon: My thoughts mixed with online info. Use your gaming chair green screen to set any image as your background when using green-screen enabled software & apps! Perfect for streaming, vlogging, working from home & more. This round, pop-up green screen works with most gaming, office, and dining room style chairs. (Yes, it’s very easy to unfold and attached with velco -or more likely ‘hook & loop’ straps to a chair.) Folds up neatly for storage. (Lots of luck with this! Eventually, I got it folded, but it took many tries.) Features soft & elastic material, durable enough for extended use. Foldable green screen includes storage bag for travel & keeping it neat. (It helps keep it from springing open!) Size: 42.9in diameter when open. Material: 100% polyester. About $23 to $26 on Amazon, but $5 on close-out at FiveBelow. That sale will probably end fast since it’s such a great buy. But, if you buy it online at FiveBelow there is $7.95 shipping.

Meet A super Versatile Phone Holder.
This week I talk about 3 different Universal Travel Phone Mounts. You’ll also learn why I bought 3 different gadgets that do pretty much the exact same thing! They’re all super versatile folding pocket size travel phone mounts. You can use them as a selfie stick, but they are more designed for travel. Sit it on the airplane snack tray when it’s open to hold a smarphone and watch movies, or mount it to closed snack tray. At the airport it can lock on to the armrest of a seat, and it even can lock on to rolling luggage handle and conveniently hold your phone while you’re waiting in line. Multi-Directional 360 degree rotation for best viewing angle. A strong spring clamp mounts your phone, landscape or portrait mode, to almost any object up with a spring that opens to 1.5 inch wide. Compatible to multiple phone sizes from an iPhone Mini to an iPhone 12 Pro Max or Samsung Note 20 Plus according to the company.

Chad’s Crappy Corner and his third gadget for his new May Cheap Gadget Theme.
Amazon: This Aluminum Portable Foldable Ergonomic Notebook Lift Holder for Desk, or Table. Raises laptop to improve airflow and help with heat dissipation. (PLEASE NOTE: the stand is semi-permanent attached using double sided tape). Ergonomic design elevates your laptop screen which help reduce neck, upper back and arms strain for the perfect typing position every time. Supports up to 11lbs. (5kg) suitable for any 10-16″ laptop or tablet.
Works for tablets with a 9.5″ x 1.4″ flat bottom surface for secure mounting. $12.99
And Chad’s take: Chad wasn’t actually sure if he was going to keep using this gadget or not. He thought it was well made, but wishes it had a way to adjust the height of the laptop. He’s not sure he likes the steep angle it sets for his laptop. Also he said people should be aware that they have to attach it on their laptop using the peel off 3M sticky tape. But, it was just $12.99. You’ll see and hear Chad’s complete demo on this week’s show.

Dick’s Gadget Warehouse & How To Submit Your Video & Win An Autographed MAD Magazine.
The Giz Wiz has his own Gadget Warehouse Video on this week’s show.
Apple is discontinuing the iPod, but look what I found at Dick’s Gadget Warehouse!
It’s May 2022 and Apple announces the end of the line for the iPod! Here’s a bit of history of the iPod from the Internet. First arriving in October 2001, the pocket-size rectangle with a white face and polished steel frame weighed 6.5 ounces. It came packaged with white earbuds in a custom color, moon gray, and held 1,000 songs. Last week, Apple officially said goodbye to all that. The company announced it had phased out production of its iPod Touch, bringing an end to a two-decade run of a product line that inspired the creation of the iPhone and helped turn Silicon Valley into the epicenter of global capitalism. I went to the warehouse and found a brand new iPod mini – ‘new in box’ as they say. I checked out this iPod mini online. The iPod mini was announced on January 6 2004. Apple described it like this: “iPod mini is encased in an ultra-portable, lightweight anodized aluminum body available in five stylish colors—silver, gold, pink, blue or green—and features a patent pending, touch-sensitive Click Wheel for easy, one-handed navigation.” Then a bit more than a year later on Feb 2005, a new version with of the iPod Mini with a starting MSRP of $249, which was lower than the $299 starting price tag new iPods had previously been priced at. But then, it turned out to be the iPod product with the shortest life. On September 7, 2005, Steve Jobs announced the iPod Nano, which became a replacement for the iPod Mini. The decision to kill off a product as popular as the iPod mini upset some people, but it introduced an amazing new feature – flash storage! So the iPod Mini was produced for only 1.5 years which the Nano would be in production until 2017, when it was officially discontinued. Now they’re all gone — but not for me, I found the 30 GB iPod in the warehouse, probably never used, but shown on ABC’s World News Now. And the 6GB iPod mini, never used and still in it’s original plastic wrapping. I hope they’re worth something. (The warehouse is $$$.)

We’d love to include your video in an upcoming Giz Wiz Show! Here’s what we’re looking for! Your home shot video – 2 to 3 minutes long, in any of the following categories:
I bought a piece of crap: Did you buy something you ended up hating? We won’t get you a refund, but we might be able to give a platform to vent your disappointment. Remember, “family friendly” language applies.
–
I invented this! Did you invent something? (Or did a friend or relative invent something.) We can’t market it for you, but we can help get the word out. Show us what it is, and how it works. Even if it’s a prototype, you can get our (and the audience) reactions. No professional ads please.
–
My Gadget Warehouse: Okay, so you don’t have a warehouse. It doesn’t matter. Just tell us about your favorite old gadget(s). When and where you bought it, and why you’re still hanging on to it.
–
My Favorite Gadget (favorite old, or favorite new): Show us what it is, tell us what it does and why you love, or loved it! It can be a new gadget you just bought too.
–
Post them on YouTube and send us the link! We’ll do the rest. (Or possibly nothing, but that’s unlikely.) Remember, videos should be just 2 to 3 minutes long! Low production value is fine, but we should be able to hear you and see you! If we select and show your video on The Giz Wiz you’ll earn a tiny amount of fame (hopefully). And if you live in the US, you’ll also get an autographed 38+ year old Alfred E. Neuman picture and a MAD surprise (most likely the current issue of MAD.) But no matter where you live outside of US, I can autograph an Alfred E. Neuman photo to you, scan it & email you a high res copy if we show your video. Just print it out, frame it, or just hang it up and no one will know it’s a copy. We’ve tested it out and fans say they look terrific! If you submitting warehouse videos for a second, third time, etc., you’ll get the current issue of MAD as a thank you.
All show submissions go to mail@gizwiz.tv
