3 More Final Fun Toys From The Day of Play Press Event.
The first time Chad & I saw the 3Doodler was about 11 years ago at CES. The company has come a long way since then even creating a special 3Doodler ‘safe for kids as young as 6’ printing pen. At Day of Play they were showing the new 3DOODLER START+ MAKER BUNDLE. According to the company: Kids can use this 3D printing pen to create anything they can imagine. This bundle includes a 3Doodler Start+ pen, more than 145 colored strands, 10 activities, nine challenge cards, and a Doodlepad. Perfect for STEM Learning Fun: Inspires creativity, design, planning, building, and spatial understanding. Child-Safe: Designed with no external hot parts, completely safe for kids ages 6-13.

Chad’s Crappy Corner and his final ‘cheap gadget’ for his September theme!
Chad’s cheap theme for September as picked by our loyal Patreons is Left-over Gadgets! Yes, gadgets Chad bought various themes of the past, that he never got to use on the show.
Chad’s fourth leftover gadget is the Wall Mounted Automatic Toothpaste Squeezer!
Some info from Amazon: (Not the exact brand Chad bought, but almost the same.) The automatic toothpaste dispenser through vacuum principle and push design can squeeze out the quantitative of toothpaste you need, scientific amount and no waste. Has a unique dual-position design ideal for kids and adults, especially It allows your kids the ability to dispense the toothpaste by themselves. You can also get the length of the toothpaste that you want to extrude by changing your strength. The non-contact operation, freehand, just pushes to squeeze to get toothpaste, avoid direct touch, very hygienic and convenient. Self-adhesive stickers is suitable for plastic, metal, wood, ceramic, mirror, tile wall and so on smooth surfaces.
And Chad’s take? (Spoiler, he already through his out.) As you see on this week’s show, after you prime the tube for fairly long time, it does work. But as Chad pointed out, the opening where you insert your toothbrush is too small, and you get toothpaste spread around when you try to remove it. Kids might love it, Chad didn’t! Cheap, about $7.00 Chad couldn’t find the exact one he purchased a while back but the one below looks like it’s exactly the same thing.

Dick’s Gadget Warehouse & How To Submit Your Video & Win An Autographed Copy of MAD Magazine.
Our warehouse video is about one of the strangest product of 2011: Bathe & Brew – a combination showerhead & coffee pot! The idea was you could shower as your coffee was brewing right in the shower stall. And in case you weren’t electrocuted, as you surely would be, you could enjoy a hot cup of coffee. It was the beginning of Prank Packs, fake gift boxes that looked like a real product!
Our email and viewer video this week is from Richard Vega who writes
Hi Dick and Chad,
In Episode #1759 you introduced Prank Packaging. I always have the fun with my 5 sibs on Christmas. You’d think my sister would be on guard. Nope! I had to edit the video because she went on for around 5 minutes.
Thanks for the ideas that have made Christmas fun.
She gave me permission to send this to you.
Hope you enjoy it.

Dick’s Gadget Warehouse & How To Submit Your Video To Win An Autographed Copy of MAD Magazine.
We’d love to include your video in an upcoming Giz Wiz Show! Here’s what we’re looking for! Your home shot video – 2 to 3 minutes long, in any of the following categories:
I bought a piece of crap: Did you buy something you ended up hating? We won’t get you a refund, but we might be able to give a platform to vent your disappointment. Remember, “family friendly” language applies.
–
I invented this! Did you invent something? (Or did a friend or relative invent something.) We can’t market it for you, but we can help get the word out. Show us what it is, and how it works. Even if it’s a prototype, you can get our (and the audience) reactions. No professional ads please.
–
My Gadget Warehouse: Okay, so you don’t have a warehouse. It doesn’t matter. Just tell us about your favorite old gadget(s). When and where you bought it, and why you’re still hanging on to it.
–
My Favorite Gadget (favorite old, or favorite new): Show us what it is, tell us what it does and why you love, or loved it! It can be a new gadget you just bought too.
–
Post them on YouTube and send us the link! We’ll do the rest. (Or possibly nothing, but that’s unlikely.) Remember, videos should be just 2 to 3 minutes long! Low production value is fine, but we should be able to hear you and see you! If we select and show your video on The Giz Wiz you’ll earn a tiny amount of fame (hopefully). And if you live in the US, you’ll also get an autographed 38+ year old Alfred E. Neuman picture and a MAD surprise (most likely the current issue of MAD.) But no matter where you live outside of US, I can autograph an Alfred E. Neuman photo to you, scan it & email you a high res copy if we show your video. Just print it out, frame it, or just hang it up and no one will know it’s a copy. We’ve tested it out and fans say they look terrific! If you submitting warehouse videos for a second, third time, etc., you’ll get the current issue of MAD as a thank you.
