We kicked this week’s show off with the UURig MiniTripod.
I also brought a brand new webcam which you see in a demo later on this week’s show. But this new tripod was bought to use with that new camera. The mini tabletop stand tripod as the standard 1/4 screw to fit variety of devices includidng webcams, digital SLR cameras, etc. The 2 in 1 design uses hidden retractable legs so you have your choice of a 5.1 inch or a 7.5 inch tripod. When you fold the legs together, the tripod becomes a handy camera handle. And the price is great too, $7.99 as of 12/19/25.

A Chad Extra
Chad’s extra on this show is a very unusual Scotch Desktop Tape Dispenser.
This is a strange version of a tape dispenser. It clips to surfaces up to 1.25” thick. And it features; 360-degree horizontal rotation, 180-degree vertical rotation and clips to tables, desks, monitor stands, cubicle walls, etc. It said to allow for one-handed dispensing, but watch this week’s show to see how that goes! It’s very inexpensive, especially for a Scotch branded product. It was $4.99 on Amazon. BEWARE OF THE 3-PACK, which for some bizarre reason is $27.27!!

Zoom With A View
I wanted a new camera for the Gizneyland studio, one with a zoom lens. I saw the versatile EMEET C60E Dual-Camera 4K Webcam online and bought one. You can control it via an app, or better for me, the included remote control. I love that you can switch freely between full-scene and close-up views via the dual lenses! It also allows a smooth zoom from 1X to 11X— or use the 3X, 5X, 7X, and Max 11X buttons. You do a zoom using the full range there is a quick jump as the camera switches between the two lenses, but it’s not that noticeable. There are many other features available and you’ll see a lot of them in use on this week’s show. MSRP: $69.99. I used a $10 off coupon when I bought mine, but as of 12/19/25, it was on sale for $55.99. That price can change at any time.

Chad’s Crappy Corner
It’s December, and Chad’s Cheap Theme, voted on by our loyal Patreons, is Cheap Holiday Stocking Stuffers. Chad’s third stocking stuffer is the LIGHTFE E2 Mini Keychain Flashlight.
This is a really tiny flashlight with a unique magnetic charging cable. If you ever lose it, you won’t be able to charge this flashlight. It comes with a clip-on key chain or just slip it into a pocket. As small as this is, it offers 5 light mode groups which include High, Low, Medium, Strobe, SOS, and Breathing Light. The problem is, and you’ll a complete demo on this week’s show, all the lighting effects are created with various timed presses of the one single button. Chad said you’ll most likely carry the instruction booklet with you. MSRP: $16.99.

Email of the week:
Everything you ever needed to know about why the Foldimate or robots can’t fold clothes (yet?).
Hey Dickie D and Chad — Since the subject of the Foldimate and robotic folding of clothes is often mentioned on the GizWiz, I found this scientific paper regarding “robotic clothes folding”.
Since the GizWiz is dedicated to intellectual pursuits and scholarly scientific research, I knew you would be interested in it. Here’s a link to the paper entitled: “A Review of Robotic Cloth Manipulation”. If you have an incredibly long attention span and a pot or two of coffee, you can read all (and I do mean ALL) about it.
It has: • 12 authors • 8 sections, each divided into multiple sub-sections • 3 charts • 2 tables • and 148 citations
It’s a page-turner! I made it almost halfway through the introduction. Once you read the entire paper (and I KNOW you will) maybe you can tell me what it says!
Thank you! (love the show)
