1. Kids Will Love The (non-scary) Dinosaur Claw Machine!
They may call it the Dinosaur Claw Machine for Kids, but I had a ton of fun playing with it.
The mini claw machine had a powerful and flexible claw that rotates 360 degrees, opens and closes as kids grab prizes. Play alone or turn this game into a family or party competition! To add to the fun this one plays music while you try to snag your prize. Uses 3 AA batteries you supply. This toy vending machine comes with 10 mini-plush dolls, 10 colorful mini-eggs, and 12 game coins. It’s timed play, so you have to get your toy before the music and the claw stops. Coins are easy retrieved from a flip open door at the bottom of the machine. It’s also easy to reload the claw machine with your favorite treats like candy, gum, gumballs, snacks, or mini Easter eggs. It was under $30 on 9/12/24 on Amazon.

Shark Blanket Hoodie (or Costume) for Adults.
This looks pretty neat, as you’ll see on this week’s show. But, the sizes seems to run a bit on the large size, as you’ll also see. This shark hoodie is soft and fun scary. There’s a place for your hands and feet, but I think it would be hard to walk in this once you have it fully on. The company says it’s made of 280g thick flannel fabric. XL is said to fit adults or men 5’9″-6’4″(175-193cm) tall. I’m 5’8” and I was “swimming” in it! It’s said to be machine washable and it is recommended to wash it before use for more comfort. I didn’t do that, but washing it may also make it shrink for a better fit. (I should have just ordered large, not XL) This fun hoodie could also be good for a Halloween costume or even (Jaws) cosplay! It was under $30 on 9/13/24.

Another “What The Heck Is It?”
That gadget is the Ejito Cap Washer for washing machines and even dishwashers! It’s a mesh bag with cap rack inside. That’s after you assemble it. It ships in a clear plastic bag with no instructions. But, as you see, it is easy to assemble. And you’ll see a demo from beginning to end using a dirty baseball cap and putting it through a dishwasher cycle. Yes, dishwasher! My guess is that is probably would have come out a bit cleaner if it went through a clothes washer, but it seemed wasteful to buy one just for this spot! It was about $12 on Amazon, or 2 for about $18.00 as of 9/13/24.

Chad’s Crappy Corner
It’s September, time to learn what Chad’s Cheap Gadget Theme, as voted on by our loyal Patreons, is. They picked Cheap “As Seen On TV” Gadgets!
Chad’s second new theme gadget is the Window Whizz!
This gadget is said to: Turn any spray bottle into a cleaning machine with the Window Whizz Bottle Topper! You no longer need one hand to spray, and one hand to wipe. The Window Whizz turns into a one-handed tool that will save you not only time, but energy too!
Well, it seems like the claim: “Simply attach to any spray bottle”, doesn’t work. Chad how to try 3 spray bottles before he found one that sort of worked. Nothing else on the gadget seemed to work either, but you’ll see it all on Chad’s demo on this week’s show! About the only place you’ll still find it for sale is on eBay, but after Chad’s demo, I doubt you’ll want to buy one!

Dick’s Gadget Warehouse
Our email is from Rachel Ziese who writes:
Hi guys! I have a cool repair kit gadget to share.
My patio swing canopy broke a few years ago when large chunks of snow fell on it from my house’s roof, falling two stories. At the time I used FiberWeld Repair Cast which held until last winter when another large chunk of snow fell from the roof and broke it again.

Our email this week is from Randy in Colorado who writes:
Hi, Dick –
I’ve noticed that whenever Chad shows ScooterX’s AliExpress finds, the price shown has “Welcome Deal” in a red bar above it. I think the extra low price and free shipping are just to get people to sign up and make their first purchase. As seen in the attached image, the price for the dog puzzle was $3.19 when I was not logged in (and in Chrome incognito mode with no cookies), but jumped to $12.19 when I logged into my account. The $11.29 you paid for the one from Amazon was actually a great deal.
Thanks!
