And AI says: “The purple light in the toothbrush sanitizer utilizes ultraviolet (UV).” The company says a 1.5 hour charge will give you about 30 days of use. There’s an inner compartment that pops out for easy cleaning. The UV light treatment takes 5 minutes, and the light comes on when you close the case and shuts off automatically. Strangely, part of the copy on Amazon says the clear window says you see the inner workings of the device. And elsewhere it says “don’t look at the UV light”. The back of the unit is magnetic and it comes with a stick-on magnetic disc to make it easy to mount the device on the wall. It’s small, so it’s also great for travel. And I thought, inexpensive at $19.99 on Amazon as of 9/11/25.
