Hi Dick & Chad:

This gadget, though not exciting, has solved a problem. We found cinder bricks above our fireplace when remodeling. The heavy frame and needlepoint made for my wife has never been hung because we can’t put in anchors. We expected to hear a crash in the middle of the night but this little thing held.

We’d love to include your video in an upcoming Giz Wiz Show!

2. Videos should be just 2 to 3 minutes long in Horizontal Format! Low production value is fine, but we need to hear you and see your gadget clearly! You can be in the video if you like.

3. Post your Video on YouTube and click ‘unlisted’ when you upload it if you want, but not “Private” or we won’t be able to see it. Send us the URL link from YouTube.

But no matter where you live outside of the US & Canada, I’ll autograph an Alfred E. Neuman photo to you, scan it & email you a high res image. Just print it out, frame it, or just hang it up and no one will know it’s a copy. We’ve tested it out and fans say they look terrific!

Email of the week:

Happy Christmas! Just wanted to provide the above link on AKC Reunite. I used this service for my cats when they are microchipped. It is only $19.50 for lifetime of your pet, and you can update the information at any time with no additional charge. Here is the info about AKC Reunite:

As the nation’s largest non-profit pet microchip and recovery service, our mission is to keep pet microchipping and enrollment affordable, with no annual fees, so more lost pets can find their way home.

Since 1995 our microchips, collar tags and 24/7/365 recovery experts have helped reunite over 600,000 lost pets with their owners. Over 10 million pets (35+ different species!) are enrolled with AKC Reunite. It is our mission to provide quality products and services that ultimately protect and reunite pets with their owners and prevent pets from populating our nation’s shelters.

As a 501c3, we have given back over $14 million to support working K9s and pet disaster relief efforts. https://www.akcreunite.org/

I do like the Ring pet tag that that shown in Episode 1965, but I would have that as supplemental to the microchip. If you do any international travel, microchip is mandatory so when I moved from Oregon to Ireland, my cat Hank was microchipped and I updated his info on AKC Reunite website. Air Canada also bumped Hank and his servant (my significant other) to first class (called “business class” on Air Canada) and the microchipped help to properly (and legally) identify him. I, on the other hand, ended up in the boot (aka economy class near the lavatory at the tail) – I was prohibited from going into first class and had to pass notes via the flight attendants to “talk” to my significant other. I can honestly say Hank loved being in first class.

Thanks for producing the GizWiz and I look forward to it weekly from Ireland. – George F
