I find a gadget from 20 years that Chad wishes he could buy today!

It’s the Doomsday USB Hub!

It looks techie, and features numbered toggle switches, plus- for safety, an on/off ignition key. You must flip the toggle switches by following the number sequence on the device. Then urning the key “arms” the device. Then you lift the plastic safety cover, cross your fingers (optional) and press the red button. Pressing that button is supposed to deliver some amazing SFX, but it’s kind of anti-climatic after all that prep! But the device still look great and it’s still fun. It’s from 20 years ago and ThinkGeek marketed it. The four 2.0 USB inputs work independently of the ‘blast off sequence.’ It sold for $60.00. At some point an ungraded version featuring USB 3.0 is supposed to have been introduced, but I could not find any place to buy one, new or used.
