You can wirelessly upload ePub files by creating a device hotspot or by using Calibre.
If you buy from a US site, it will come with Chinese-made firmware in English, but a community of users has created CrossPoint Reader (which is what you see in my video.). I’m sorta techie but not a programmer so refreshing a device is not something I generally try, but switching the firmware to CrossPoint was super-easy and only took a minute.
