Here’s what Walmart says about it: The C9 Flickering Flame bulb features a c9 shape with a flame tip for added fire effect. 120v max, 2.0watts with E26 light bulb screw. The LED Flickering flame bulb comes in multiple styles all of which features our latest technology of fire effects! The Flickering Flame bulb casts a realistic fire effect as well as simulates a real flame in any lamp or light bulb holder of your choice. EZ Illuminations Flame Led C9 Bulb 120v max – 2.0 Watts. E26 screw base for use with common household light sockets. Chad paid $6 for his at a Walmart close out.
And Chad’s take:Chad thought this was a so-so bulb. It doesn’t really look much like a flame when it’s lit. As we discovered while recording the show, the flame effect looks better in the reflection on one of the studio monitors than the effect from the actual bulb looks. (You can see the reflection in the photo above.) And I have worse news for Chad about paying $6.00 on close-out. I checked the Walmart website on 2/21/20 and the bulbs were —— 25 cents! But of course, they were sold out. If you near a Walmart, you might check to see if they have them for 25 cents or not. Maybe bring a print out of their web price.
