The Red Caboose, a 56 year old hobby shop in mid-town, New York City is closing. 
I went there endless times when I was writing Match Game for Goodson-Todman. In those old-old days it was way more focused on model railroading. I had not been there in maybe 25 years, but I had to make a last visit when I heard about their mid-October, 2026 closing. What I found was some train stuff, but models of every kind and shape. You won’t believe the range and scope of the inventory they have (or had) when I shot this video mid-September, 2026.
