MAD Magazine issue #600 officially hits comic shops and subscribers on June 17, 2026.
By my figures, I’ve been in 807 of those 600 issues. However, Doug Gilford, at MadCoverSite.com , the gold standard for MAD info, says I’ve actually been in 515 issues of those 600, including, of course, reprints from earlier issues. This issue is the AUG issue of MAD, even though it says JUN at the top right. It’s so easy to get those months mixed up with both of them having “U” in the middle. The lower left of the cover identifes it as Aug. The amazing wrap-around cover is by Sergio Aragones! I have a two page spread in that issue called: A Peek Behind Mail Order Rip-Off Houses. Art for that was by one of MAD’s most famous artists, Jack Davis! It was originally published in MAD #281.That #600 issue officially becomes available Weds 6/17. If you search for it online, several places that sell it, or let you buy or read that issue online should come up.
UPDATE: That is the August 2026 issue of MAD. It says JUN top right, AUG bottom left. Seems both JUN & AUG have a “U” in the middle, so someone got confused before it went to press.
