Hi Dick and Chad, I heard about a gadget on a podcast that seemed interesting enough to share: https://www.plaud.ai
There are several models available, and while I am not sure of the exact specifications for each, I imagine the primary differences involve battery life, microphone quality, and portability. I thought it would be a fun experiment if you used one during a GizWiz stream recording to see how accurately it summarized the show at the end. However, I certainly wouldn’t expect you to spend $150 just to test it out. 🙂 Since they offer a desktop version that appears to be free, perhaps you could try that version instead? It might provide a good glimpse into how the hardware performs. This could be a very useful tool for people who have frequent meetings and need automated note-taking.
