We did something different this week. A couple of weeks ago The Giz Wiz Show celebrated episode 2000. Fans send in wonderful videos, including one from Mark, AKA Giz_1. It was an amazing under 2 minutes look at dozens of gadgets we covered over all those years. I thought it would be fun to take a closer look at a few of them that I don’t remember much about. First, here’s the video from Giz_1.  https://youtu.be/QVdGUK-ex68

That bike Chad was on is from a show about 4 years ago. That’s his EcoSmart SUP Electric Scooter. It featured 16″ Air-Filled Tires, Wide Bamboo Deck, 350w High-Torque Hub-Driven Motor. Expect up to 15.5 mph & 15.5 Miles Range. Back then it had a 36V lead-acid battery system and plug-in charger. requires no gasoline, making it an economical and eco-friendly alternative to make local trips. With its quiet, high torque, 350-watt hub-driven motor, the Razor EcoSmart SUP Electric Scooter can reach speeds up to 15.5 mph (25 km/h), boasts an up to 12-mile (19 km) range and up to 60 minutes of continuous use. It’s still around, but now there are many models, some with seats and carrying baskets. The basic model Chad had has a MSRP: $449.99.

The Giz Wiz wearing cat ears? Almost 12 years ago, Neurosky, came out with a new mental exercise device called MindWave.  It’s said to measures your brainwave signals and attention levels in a whole (strange, and very funny) way. Necomimi’s Cat-Ears! Yep, put on your cat ears, let one sensor rest on your forehead, and connect the other sensor to your earlobe. It connects with a little clip, which I didn’t even feel when attached. Then anyone looking at you will most likely stare and laugh as your cat-like reactive movements show how interested or relaxed you are in real-time. Cost $99.95

What? 12 years later and they’re still available, and a bit cheaper! $79.99.

Chad said that’s Elephant Toothpaste Leo is playing with in the old ‘Brick House’ Studio. He couldn’t remember how it was made. I looked up ‘elephant toothpaste’ on Amazon & these Science Kits came up: https://amzn.to/3XrYRnR
