But 1st, a bit of MAD history: MAD began in 1952 with MAD #1, their October–November issue. Sadly MAD ended all-new material issues with this #10 November-December 2019 issue. That’s 67 years of publishing, the majority of those years without advertising. 550 issues were done by the NY staff, 10 by the LA staff. (In December 2017 MAD moved to Burbank, and the new LA staff started their numbering issues with #1 again.) Also with this issue #10, MAD is no longer available at newsstands, bookstores, etc. It is only available via subscription or at a comic book store. And available right here too. I bought 24 copies online figuring it would be hard to find once people realized MAD wasn’t on newsstands anymore and this would be the final issue will all-new material. So this issue wasn’t easy to find, but now it is — assuming you’re reading this. I did a web search to come up with a price and I found three places selling it. Prices are in $50 range & often higher and they weren’t autographed by MAD’s Maddest Writer. (Yes, that might lower the value, unless you’re a DickDe fan.) I decided on a lower amount, $29.99. I’ll autograph to you, or whomever you want. It’s signed, put in a plastic sleeve and then mailed in a heavy duty white cardboard envelope with USPS tracking. That’s $4.99. And PayPal will automatically add sales taxes in some places.
2022 HOLIDAY BONUS: Order between now & December 20th, 2022 & I will include an autographed Alfred E. Neuman photo, the same one that sells on my website for $13.98! Yours as a bonus. (It will be sent with your magazine, no coupon needed!)
