It’s finally Spring, time to think about outdoor activities!
If those activities include bikes, motorcycles, or sports balls, you might be interested in a handy Mini Portable Battery Pump.
On Amazon I bought the 150 PSI YOUNGDO Bicycle Tire Inflater. It features a Digital Pressure Gauge, Auto Stop when the tire reaches the pre-set PSI, and Type-C Charging of the 500mAh built-in battery. The Pump with includes Presta and Schrader Valve for Bicycle and Motorcycle tires. The company says their pump can inflate your bike tire from 0 psi to 45 psi in less than 1 minute. I also bought an exercise ball on Amazon to see how well my new pump inflated that, but that didn’t work out well. Chad said the kit I bought was missing a valve that some other air pump kits have. But, if you’re just using it for tires, or a sport’s ball that takes a needle like inflator, this device seems like a handy, very compact unit. MSRP: $49.99, but it often on sale, sometimes for 50% off. A 50% off coupon was there on 3/21/25. The Anti-Burst Ball was $11.99 when I bought mine.

It’s Spring, so time to look at some warm weather gadgets.
This Jinlicte Solar Camping Fan would be great for camping, for outdoor gatherings and even worksites when you need light and a cooling fan.
The company makes two versions. I bought 20000mAh Solar Powered Fan with LED Lantern, but there’s also a 10,200 mAh version. The bigger version is said to have an upgraded 9W volt solar panel, compared with a 7W version for the smaller model. Both have a rechargeable battery, multi-speed fan and LED light with 3 dimming modes. There’s also USB-C charging if needed, and USB A out charging for cellphones, or other small rechargeable devices. There’s also a built-in timer, and battery power indicator. Price for this keeps changing. As of 3/21/25 it was $49.99 with a 25% off coupon.

Meet The Book Nook
I found these ‘kits for adults’ at Toy Fair. It’s not a toy, but a fun, and to my mind, really complicated building kit for adults.

Train Station Book-Nook w/LED Light.
The spokesperson says it should take about 15 hours to build one, but looking at the completed models, that sounds pretty fast. Basically, after they’re built, your Book Nook can be displayed on shelves, with or without books. As you’ll see on this week’s show, they are very, very detailed models and many are complete with LED lighting to help show them off. The average kit is about $40 to $45.

Chad’s Crappy Corner
The March Theme for Chad’s Crappy Corner voted on by our loyal Patreons is cheap Dual-Purpose Gadgets! Why settle for one function when you can have two? But do these multi-use gadgets actually work, or are they just twice as bad? Chad’s 3rd gadget is the TrendPlain 2 in 1 oil dispenser and oil sprayer.
Info from Amazon: This gadget allows you to spray or pour with ease. It’s a versatile oil dispenser bottle spray and pour solution, keeping your kitchen organized and efficient. The olive oil spray bottle features a nozzle that delivers a fine mist or steady stream, offering precise control. It’s perfect for drizzling or spraying, making it an essential oil bottles for kitchen.
And Chad’s take? Chad liked this a lot. As you’ll see on this week show, this neat gadget has actually 3 ways to dispense oil. And the price was good too. Under $10. ($9.99, as on 3/21/25)

Dick’s Gadget Warehouse
Our email this week is from Linda Norman who writes:
Hi Dick and Chad,
We’ve been clearing out my parents house since they have moved to Florida. My youngest sister and I were going through a cabinet and found a surprise from our childhood. Dick, you were the first person I thought of when we found this. It has earned a place on my display shelf.
