Bouncing LEDs!
If you like playing hoops, darkness won’t matter! It’s the Funvip LED Basketball. It’s an official size (29.5″) basketball that can provide hours of glow in the dark fun. The company says to make sure to fully charge the ball before use. The kit includes the glow in the dark basketball, travel ball bag, handpump, ball needle and USB charging cable. As you’ll see on this week’s show, the ball’s LED goes off another about a minute of no-motion, but bounce it, and the light comes on instantly and stays on during play. Was under $20 as of 4/17/25

Ever Hear Of ‘Face Washing Bands’?
Meet the Taocar Face Washing Wristbands.
I don’t know why, but lately it seems when I wash my face, water runs down my arms and on to the floor. Googling how to stop that, I learned about the Tascar Water-absorbent Wrist Bands. I bought four pair because they’re cheap. Eight of them (4 pairs) were $5.99. And they work great. Wash away, and water on your arms will be absorbed by the wristband. Now I don’t have to worry about water dripping everywhere. The company says they’re made of Microfiber, or coral fleece, soft and skin-friendly. 8 (4 pair) for $6.00 or about 75 cents each….

Chad’s Crappy Corner
It’s April Time for a new theme for Chad’s Crappy Corner. On this show we learned what the winning theme, voted on by our loyal Patreons was! And it is – Ta Da! Cheap Gadgets for the rain. I guess some folks who voted for that were thinking about ’ April Showers’.
Chad’s 3rd Cheap Gadget For The Rain are the MLUUHK Reusable Rain Shoe Covers.
From Amazon: Long tube design, fully waterproof. Keep your shoes dry even in the harshest weather conditions. The waterproof material creates a protective barrier around the shoe to prevent rain, mud and snow from seeping into the shoe.
From Chad: These really work! They were easy to put on over my size 11.5 running shoes. After wading in a lake near me for a few minutes and stepping back out, I checked carefully and no water leaked in. You’ll see Chad’s complete demo on this week’s show. The reusable rain shoe covers range in price from about $17 to $22 depending on the size and height of ones you buy.

Dick’s Gadget Warehouse
This week Dick goes to — Dick’s Gadget Warehouse and finds an amazing (?) invention from around 1999 to 2000!
It’s the VCR Co-Pilot. It’s said to: Programs your shows in seconds with simple slide and dial controls.
Just: Select the Day. Select the Record Time. Select the Stop Time
- With simple slide and dial controls you can
- Record a single show
- Record your favorite daily show Monday through Friday
- Record your favorite weekly show each week
VCR Co-Pilot does the rest by sending a signal to your VCR to start and stop recording. Day and Time settings are stored in the VCR Co-Pilot. —- But it looks like you have to make sure you leave your TV set tuned to the channel you want to record, since the device can only handle on/off times. And can only record one show.
Guess what? You can still buy one! But why would you want to?? — $9.99 on Amazon: https://amzn.to/42w20oU
